Companies get so big that prices, supply and demand, they just don’t affect them.

  1. The thing is there is a genuine debate about how multinational corporations interact with nation states is one that would be quite welcome. The idea that someone utterly ignorant of any aspect of finance, taxation or economics would have anything useful to contribute is of course what is surprising
