Veterinary college to neuter its courses of colonial bias … if it can find any
The Royal Veterinary College plans to tackle racism in its curriculum, despite staff saying they cannot think of any examples

The task is to operate as race mongers. To identify what is indeed racist and colonialist in vetting. Clearly it is because society as a whole is and that’s all the proof that’s needed. It’s just the examples needed now.

For example, they use the Latin language. That’s racist and colonialist. Equus equus is racist because it doesn’t use the Hausa word which it should instead. No, really, imagining that there is just the one correct phrase to use across all the dark folks languages – without even reference to them? Colonialist bastards. This is not a joke: “Addressing the difficulty of decolonising, an academic on the diversity committee advised that it would include tackling “a colonial legacy” which presents “the white, global North intellectual tradition as superior and universal”.”

They refer to knees. Which sounds like nee as the first part of gro. That’s racist, obviously. Calling something a mandible is clearly sexist, it’s a personible.

See how this game works?

  1. Maritime Barbarian

Cats must be renamed, of course. It carries connotations of “catty”, which is sexist.
“Kitten” is even worse. It suggests sex-kitten, which is demeaning and patriarchal towards the strong women of today.

  2. Keeping dogs in the home is haram, so anything that encourages this is clearly problematic to our Muslim friends.

The term vet can also refer to a military veteran, again problematic to any inhabitants of a recent theatre of engagement

  3. Easy Peasy, The very, very naughty word “Royal” is in the college’s title. Therefore, ipso facto, it’s colonial, racist, etc. etc.

    Burn it down!

  4. The best thing is to scrap all western meds and techniques, find out what the locals in Somalia do to their pets and livestock and just start teaching that.

  5. They have been trying to do this with James Bond for years. Blofeld has had to go because of his preference for white pussies.

  6. “a colonial legacy” which presents “the white, global North intellectual tradition as superior and universal”.”

The White, global North is demonstrably superior though, so the real problem is with non-White peoples, entirely understandable, sense of inferiority.

We need the total and permanent de-colonisation of the West. Though probably not in the way that anti-White activists mean….

  7. Amusingly, no. Horses don’t breed well down there. Or didn’t at least. There was a thriving trade in taking them down from North Africa. Where they were used to mount warriors who went hunting folks further south in order to ship them north to pay for the horses…..

  8. We eat healthy animals today, or they were healthy until they were slaughtered under the watch of a vet with prayers coming over the PA.
In pre-colonial times we hunted and ate unhealthy animals, ‘cos the ones with the coordination or respiratory conditions that day of the hunt and the broken limbs were the ones we could catch.
I can’t find the racism in that.

  9. “That’s a lovely little black bitch you’ve got there. How much did you pay for her, and do you want her spayed?”

  10. Sam Vara,
Reminds me of one farmer talking to another about his daughter. “You’ve got that’n up to a good size. What feed are yer usin?

  11. “the white, global North intellectual tradition as superior and universal”.”

It must be frustrating for these people to consider how many people from other regions of the earth are anxious, even desperately anxious, to migrate to where those traditions hold sway.

  12. “The concept of envy — the hatred of the superior — has dropped out of our moral vocabulary … The idea that white Christian civilization is hated more for its virtues than its sins doesn’t occur to us, because it’s not a nice idea. … Western man towers over the rest of the world in ways so large as to be almost inexpressible. It’s Western exploration, science, and conquest that have revealed the world to itself. Other races feel like subjects of Western power long after colonialism, imperialism, and slavery have disappeared. The charge of racism puzzles whites who feel not hostility, but only baffled good will, because they don’t grasp what it really means: humiliation. The white man presents an image of superiority even when he isn’t conscious of it. And, superiority excites envy. Destroying white civilization is the inmost desire of the league of designated victims we call minorities.”

  13. Slightly related. Saw bb c artcle the other day about “soul cap” being rejected for olympic accreditation. Its a larger than normal rubber cap for those with dreadlocks and big weaves. Seemed to me it was a cheeky entrepreneurs grab for some free publicity which seemed to work. Good for them, and no blame on them for trying I mean nothing stopping them selling the things but no top class olympian would maximise their performance with such a bulky buffon that would require their cap, so not surprising the olympics said no (but also might have been due to lack of kickback too) Anyway sure enough the hint of non inclusivity alone looks to be enough to make them reconsider.
