Detailed management is difficult

Wedding guests will have to keep face masks on during the ceremony despite being allowed to remove them during the reception, under Nicola Sturgeon’s “nonsensical” changes to Covid restrictions.

At the reception they will eat and drink so obviously, no masks.

But it’s an interesting exemplar of the base contention – detailed management of society is difficult, isn’t it? Possibly so difficult that we’d better not try it?

  1. Let’s say for argument’s sake that the masks actually work. Wearing them only some of the time is a bit like going out in the rain but only putting your umbrella up some of the time. Obviously you would still get wet.

  2. The masks don’t work at all and the Krankie Cunt doesn’t care anyway. Making you obey is what she and her gang are all about.

Take your masks off Scots. Its what William Wallace would have done.

  3. Ecksy is right

It is immaterial whether the rules make sense or not. Krankie and Jihadi Jack, her health minister don’t care.

    YOU MUST OBEY

  4. The masks are of course just comfort blankies, but I have found one good use for them. If you are browsing around covid studies and the author recommends masks, you know immediately it’s bollocks.

  5. Let’s say for argument’s sake that the masks actually work. Wearing them only some of the time is a bit like going out in the rain but only putting your umbrella up some of the time.

The way the fuckhead Commons MPs were doing it, it was more like only putting your brollie up between the showers.

The argument for masks isn’t that they protect the wearer, it’s that they protect others from the wearer’s projections. So, of course, the twats had those sitting passively wear the masks and those speaking take them off.

    Total fucking theatre.

  6. I have found an advantage to masks, one which the dimwits who propound their bogus advantages miss.

I don’t sneeze while masked. Keeps out the pollen, I assume.

  7. . . . detailed management of society is difficult, isn’t it?

I think we’re seeing it’s surprisingly easy. A happily-whipped dog of a population plus computerised, joined up corporate government means a highly detailed bootprint on our face, forever.

  8. I see an attempt on the internet to whip up dismay at a US TV personality visiting “fascist” Hungary. But I see little recognition of the kilted fascists among the Scottish nationalists.

  9. It says wedding guests but I can’t resist

    “Do you take” etc

    “My boo”

“I’m sorry, could you repeat that?”
