From a PR email

With serious mainstream dating apps sliding into the past and a desire for casual dating soaring following months of lockdown, ….. has just closed an exciting crowdfunding campaign where it exceeded its investment target by a staggering 172%. With public demand reaffirming an interest in self and sexual exploration, …. is the app at the forefront for all casual daters, with the potential for non-monogamous, casual dating to become the new mainstream, encouraged to go beyond finding the one.

Shagging around is new is it?

  1. Saw the story elsewhere. Not a huge amount of money raised. I suspect the dedicated no-strings fornicators who want this sort of thing are actually a fairly limited market. Christ knows where they’ll have been….

  2. There’s one of these sites purports to find sugarbabes for sugardaddies. Some of the talent on it does look like quality. If, of course, it exists. The membership fees are stinging. 80€ a month for basic. 200€+ for premium. I suspect that’s all members paying that, not just the men.
Because these sort of women are not exactly hard to find. It’s avoiding them’s more of a problem if you don’t live in some benighted UK suburb. But they are eternally optimistic. They do believe that their looks & charms entitle them to have men showering them with wonga. Glad to see someone’s thought of a way of taxing them. Wish I’d thought of it first.

There’s a lot of men who don’t know this. And they get sucked into websites with high quality designs and where someone spent good money photographing girls, and then double the price.

  4. Ah, I see you fell for one, Anon! But I suspect the one I described is targeted at women. I sincerely hope so. You see I don’t believe men intent on being sugardaddies have difficulty in encountering sugarbabes. In the same way picnickers don’t go searching for wasps.
