Yes Dear, very important

What do many terrorists have in common? They abuse women
Joan Smith
Groundbreaking research shows that extremist attackers are often united in their violent misogyny, whatever their ideology

Yes, yes, what you say. Of course the patriarchy is worse than blowing people into small chunks of meat that splatter the buildings. Quite so. You’re entirely right.

No, no, don’t bother, I’ll make my own sammich.

  1. On average 50% (possibly more) of the people that get blown into small chunks are women. That’s very abusive behavior.

  2. Just another example (number 4659832654865978) of the solipsism of feminism, and to be honest women in general. I’m sure if they’d had todays feminists in the 1920s they’d all have been moaning thats the deaths of 1m men in the Great War proved that women had been hardest affected by it all…………

  3. “Groundbreaking research” ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I was convinced that the police and MI5 needed to change the way they assessed the risk posed by suspects, treating a history of domestic violence as a very significant red flag.

    Silly moo.

When I raised this with the authorities, however, I encountered scepticism and disbelief. So I decided to write a book

    Because of course she did.

It was published in 2019 and this time senior figures at counter-terrorism policing and the Home Office listened.

Because of course they did. Thank Allah we have a Conservative government, eh?

They commissioned groundbreaking research using data on just over 3,000 referrals to the Prevent programme in England and Wales in 2019 – adults and children who had caused concern to teachers, social workers and family members because of a possible vulnerability to radicalisation (V2R). The results of what came to be called Project Starlight have not yet been published, but I have been given access to them – and they are stunning.

Pointless bullshit mutates into Delta Strain of More Pointless Bullshit.

There were many more men than women among the sample

Did she just assume their gender?

This confirms my theory that terrorism is at least as much about male violence as ideology

It also confirms my theory that people who write for the Guardian are window-licking fucknuggets.

angry young men are attracted to extremist ideas that appear to “justify” their grievances

“Why are contented old women not beheading more people?”, asks journalist.

Take the tragic case of the Deghayes brothers from Brighton. After enduring years of violence at the hands of their father, 18-year-old Amer Deghayes fled to Syria where he joined a terrorist organisation, the al-Nusra Front, in 2013. Two younger brothers followed and were killed within months of their arrival. Another brother, who had remained in Brighton, was convicted of drugs offences and stabbed to death in 2019.

The real tragedy here is that any of these ugly, inbred retards were allowed to set foot in our country in the first place.

Yet Hussein would later draw up a “contract” with a “demon” in which he promised to kill six women – and only women – in six months in return for winning the lottery. He refused to give detectives his passwords, so it is impossible to confirm a suspicion that he may have accessed incel sites on the web.

Guy only managed to successfully murder two, so obviously he’s never winning the lottery or getting his dick wet.

Some organisations have come up with welcome innovations – Croydon in south London, for instance, has a specialist social worker sitting on Channel panels, leading to the disclosure of previously unsuspected domestic abuse in the history of V2R referrals.

Yes, more social workers doing risk assessments will definitely stop terrorism.

To think I used to think Douglas Adams’ suggestion of herding all the useless people into a spaceship and crashing them into some faraway shithole planet was a JOKE.

  4. A high proportion [of the perpetrators of some of the worst terrorist attacks] shared a history of assaulting wives, girlfriends and other female relatives . . .
    . . .
Almost 40% of adult referrals [to the Prevent programme] had a history of domestic abuse either as perpetrators, witnesses or victims – or a combination of all three.

“Not all domestic abusers are terrorists but 30-something percent of people who might possibly be more likely to become terrorists have been involved in some way with domestic abuse” – isn’t exactly a catchy catchphrase is it?

He refused to give detectives his passwords, so it is impossible to confirm a suspicion that he may have accessed incel sites on the web.

    Lol. Just fuck off.

  5. ‘Is there anything else the terrorists and the domestic abusers have in common?’

Tut tut Rhoda. You wicked Islamophobe!!

  6. Can’t really add anything more to what either Steve at some length, or Ecks, far more succinctly have said. This droning harpy has consistently been wrong about every aspect of sexual offences and yet is given a say on public policy. If IS were still in business in Syria I’d be running a crowdfunding campaign to have her sent to Raqqa to see what genuine ‘misogyny’ actually looks like. Utterly bereft of any merit whatsoever.

  7. The ginormous elephant in this particulate room would be that so many of the men follow a religion not exactly known for its treatment of women – not in a good way any anyway.

On the contrary- in the National Lottery, two numbers matched is a minor win, and you get a Lucky Dip.

  9. There is a useful version of this, which is to turn it the other way around: men who beat up their wives and girlfriends are more likely to become terrorists so we should keep an eye on them.

Same is true of “mass shooters” in the US, which I suspect is another version of the same pathology that leads to terrorism.

There are a certain fraction of angry young men who do horrific things in every society, and the exact form of horrific thing they do is dependent on their society and background. Spotting angry young men when they’re at the beating up their girlfriend stage and doing something about it, ie locking them up for beating up their girlfriend, is a good way to stop them doing something worse.

  10. @Richard Gadsden
You can’t do that. It would add to the already racist incarceration rates for minorities. /S

  11. Lots of angry men have lots to be angry about. Trying to supress such men will make them even angrier. And even more determined to punish those they have a grievance–quite possibly a justified grievance-against.

And wife beating is not about straightforward anger anyway.

  12. Bloke in North Dorset

No evidence in the bio’s of any of these that there were wife beaters or misogynists in any other way than being RoPers:

The four suicide bombers were later identified as:

Mohammad Sidique Khan, aged 30. He lived in Beeston, Leeds, with his wife and young child, where he worked as a learning mentor at a primary school. Khan detonated his bomb on the number 216 train, killing seven people, including himself.

Shehzad Tanweer, aged 22. He lived in Leeds with his mother and father, working in a fish and chip shop. He detonated his bomb on the number 204 train. Eight people, including Tanweer, were killed by the explosion.

Germaine Lindsay, aged 19. He lived in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, with his pregnant wife and young son. He detonated his device on the number 311 train. The blast killed 27 people, including Lindsay himself.

Hasib Hussain, aged 18. He lived in Leeds with his brother and sister-in-law. Hussain detonated his bomb on a bus. Fourteen people, including Hussain, died in the explosion in Tavistock Square.
Three of the bombers were British-born sons of Pakistani immigrants; Lindsay was a convert born in Jamaica.

    And Lindsay’s wife:

Lindsay’s wife, Samantha Lewthwaite, denied his involvement until authorities produced forensic evidence to confirm his identity.[10] She later said she abhorred the attacks and that her husband’s mind had been poisoned by “radicals”.[11]

By 2015, she herself had been accused of causing the deaths of more than 400 people.[12] Now dubbed the ‘White Widow’, Lewthwaite is an alleged member of the Somalia-based radical Islamic militant group Al-Shabaab.[13]

  13. There is a valid point to be made, though, that terrorist organisations do promote membership with the promise of future shagging rights, such shagging rights being through absolute control of shaggee so none of that messing about requiring the shaggee’s consent. The sort attracted to that would also be the sort to violently object to the shaggee’s declining such personal control.

  14. Bloke in North Korea (Germany Province)

How come we are all dying of Covid if we are descended from Golgafrinchan telephone sanitizers?

We definitely did bring the apocalyptic “end of the world” beliefs on that B ark.
