Oddly enough my Missus did the original research on this. The hygiene hypothesis suggests that exposure to environmental biomes may be beneficial but not sewage. So walks in the woods, along rivers and by the sea. Also own a dog or cow.
I tried that but the cow made such a mess when it jumped on the sofa.
The research suggests that perinatal exposure to pets is important. Getting a dog at 50 won’t fix anything.
Dunno about asthma, but swimming in that stuff will give you a hell of a colonic cleanse..
