Scotland’s civil service agreed to delete the word “mother” from its maternity leave policy in response to pressure from transgender rights activists, it has emerged.
That maternity rather implies the existence of mother? That, with a bit of cod linguistics, we’d even say that it’s the state or process of being a mother – mater?
So, the State: did they do this because they are fellow extremists or are they just cowards caving in?
Meanwhile, Scotland’s TFR falls to 1.29 children per
womanbirthing parent.@Rob:
Yes.
SNP seem to get away with or allow any commie bullshit they like. A UK wide Purge of socialist scum is needed. No chance with scummy woke FUB Blojob Johnson on the job.
Arthur Teacake beat me to it…
What you’re failing to take into account, Tim, is that the Civil Service in Scotland, and the woke activists they fawn over, are as thick as several very short planks.
@ Sam Duncan
You mean “as a caber on its side”
I expect a caber is pretty dimensionless in that context.
@ Tractor Gent
The comment made more sense to those who had seen a caber (basically a large tree-trunk, trimmed). By saying “on its side” I was suggesting that the thickness of the SNP bureaucrats compared to the length of the tree-trunk.

And as thieves.
You’re not wrong, asiaseen.
