Maybe change the tax system to be more property based rather than income based so that it favours single breadwinning slightly more. Go to uni, be a teenage whore and leave with a worthless degree is an improvement on that? Roué le Jour November 5, 2021 at 8:23 am The structures that feminists claim were opressing them were actually saving them from themselves. Bloke in Wales November 5, 2021 at 8:42 am Go to uni, be a teenage whore and leave with a worthless degree If they’re going to do the first and last parts anyway, why not get paid for what they’re happy to give away for free? Witchie November 5, 2021 at 9:09 am While we are on Universities, now what about that Stock woman and Sussex Uni? ( https://unherd.com/2021/11/kathleen-stock-i-wont-be-silenced/ ). Stock (and you only need to look at her photo to see exactly what she is), is a lesbian who worked at a place totally infested with LGBT+ism. Like the Left in politics, it eventually eats itself. AndyF November 5, 2021 at 9:19 am In time perhaps they will cut out the pointless degree course part and start a course for sex workers. Pat November 5, 2021 at 10:45 am I notice that the help falls short of rescinding fees. It looks far more like putting the young ladies in touch with agencies. Are the universities now living off immoral earnings? Boganboy November 5, 2021 at 10:55 am ‘Are the universities now living off immoral earnings?’ Thank you Pat!!! rhoda klapp November 5, 2021 at 11:36 am “a lesbian who worked at a place totally infested with LGBT+ism. Like the Left in politics, it eventually eats itself.” Lezzies used to be cool. And eat each other. Steve November 5, 2021 at 11:56 am The Taliban did nothing wrong. Sam Duncan November 5, 2021 at 1:17 pm Pat’s comment is more than just a wisecrack. They must be sailing very close to the legal wind here. Grikath November 5, 2021 at 2:04 pm Que cries about those Uni’s Enabling the Patriarchy and Demeaning the Hallowed Blessedness of Femininity in 3,2,1….. But honestly.. If it’s just managing a bit of reality because it’s becoming so common it can’t get lumped with the usual support structure anymore. Why not? After all… All high-class ..Business Secretaries.. do at least claim college-level education. Sam Vara November 5, 2021 at 2:54 pm Add this to Blair’s tally. aopidjf November 5, 2021 at 4:48 pm Can they get credits toward their degree through an unpaid internship? Supporter of Greta Thunberg November 5, 2021 at 5:49 pm In my view. Everyone capable of, and wanting to go to university should be given the funding to go to university. Universal education is a vital right to create a society that can build a strong and positive economy. 42% of Americans over 25 have a college degree. And the USA has a strong economy. I accept that degree courses need to be improved. But my view, is that the more educated a society is, the better that society will be. There is an inverted snobbery of some people wanting to punish people for trying to better themselves. There is also a snobbery of people who went to the elite universities wanting to kick away at what they see as the poorer universities. They want to punish people who go to the lower ranked universities. They want to kick away the ladder of educational attainment. My fear is the threat of both the snobs and inverted snobs who want to kick away at universities. Women should not have to do sex work to get an education. Women should be helped to have good happy lives. We need to respect women. Tim the Coder November 5, 2021 at 5:58 pm @Supporter of Doom Goblin And a pony! Just who will pay for your free-with everything Nirvana? No problem, just steal it. Actually, you’re ‘Steve’ having us on, aren’t you! bloke in spain November 5, 2021 at 6:02 pm “42% of Americans over 25 have a college degree. And the USA has a strong economy.” I’m inclined to think much of the US’s “strong economy” is thanks to the 58% didn’t go to university. Much the same as the UK. Supporter of Greta Thunberg November 5, 2021 at 6:26 pm Tim the Coder. Why are you insulting school girls? Grow up. Leave politics to the decent people. Universal education is an investment in the future. Tim the Coder November 5, 2021 at 7:27 pm The Doom Goblin is an adult, not a girl. And even when she was a girl, she wasn’t a school girl because she dropped out, preferring to choose ignorance. But she says she can see CO2, so it must be true. All must believe the holy spirit! (aquavit?) An alcohol-poisoned gestation, an abusive childhood living out her parents’ activist dreams, and the final step for Holy Saint you can figure out easily enough. They tried hard enough on that boat. Poor lass. If she survives the planned martydom, she will be forever tainted and miss out on a happy adult life. Boganboy November 6, 2021 at 11:50 am SoGT Who decides that you’re capable of going to uni. The woke hander out of subsidies? No doubt the answer will be, ‘If you agree with ME!!’ Charles November 7, 2021 at 7:35 pm @Bloke on M4 – “Wouldn’t it just be better to go back to the days of women marrying men in their teenage years?” So a woman has a choice between sex with one man, while being expected to do the cleaning and cooking, or sex with lots of guys, plenty of money, and studying anything she likes? I can’t see the first choice being very popular. Leave a Reply Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
