Should Carrie be concerned?

Dominic Cummings has claimed that Boris Johnson has a secret exit from his Downing Street flat to help him escape the building without officials seeing him leave.

Mr Johnson’s former chief adviser, who has set up an email newsletter which he uses to launch broadsides at Downing Street, said the Prime Minister “likes to be able to escape his office without outer office knowing” and had installed a “special extra exit at the top of the No 10 flat”.

After all, Zac is in government and as his father said, when a man marries his mistress he creates a job vacancy.

  1. Nonsense
    Who constructed it?
How did they keep that secret from a staff that’s worked there for years, maybe decades?

    I call BS

  2. “Who constructed it?”
Possibly nobody. Just put a doorway back in use had previously not been. Someone who’d worked there told me the Downing Street complex is a warren behind the terraced houses facade. I’d presume a lot of it was designed as residential. “Show” passages & stairways & separate, concealed, circulation routes for the servants. How a lot of large houses of the period were built. Then the whole lot’s been converted to offices. There may be lost tribes of civil servants wandering round there subsisting on mice & old wallpaper.

  3. Almost the entirety of the inside was gutted and rebuilt in the 1950s, even then the buildings had been on the point of falling down for decades.

  4. . . . had installed a “special extra exit at the top of the No 10 flat”.

Rishi Sunak lives in the No 10 flat.
    .

Just put a doorway back in use had previously not been.

Yes, probably just another route from No 10 to the No 11 flat where Boris resides.

  5. Even if it was true, how on earth would he use that “special extra exit at the top of the No 10 flat”?

    Invisible helicopter? Parachute? Zip line??

  6. Bloke in North Dorset

“ Prime Minister “likes to be able to escape his office without outer office knowing””

It looks like it’s secret in that it’s a secret when he comes and goes, not how he comes and goes. Probably doesn’t want them to know how often he disappears for a shag.

  7. I would be very much surprised if there aren’t any “secondary exits”.

After all the average british PM is not one of the most popular people in the UK….

  8. Johnson is indeed scum. If he could be found in a pub the list of those happy to kick his head in would be a long one.

The only thing better would be the mass slaughter of Blojob and his entire Cabinet gang in one go. All their heads beaten in –in one go. Now that would be a grand day out–for the beaters.

  9. When I was a teen I had a secret exit for peace & quiet time

Out window, up drain pipe and relax on roof

Roof was like this: ^_^ – I sat in _ bit
