This would improve matters, would it?

There is even speculation that Biden could seek to offload Harris, perhaps when the next vacancy arises for a seat on the Supreme Court. He said last year that he would propose a black woman.

Would be amusing though. Imagine the whipping that would have to be done to get her through the Senate.

  1. Just a guess, but I doubt she’d settle for the SC. She’s 2 years and change away from being in Position A to be the D nominee for President – not a lock mind you, but the sitting VP, WOC, etc. has a huge head start over everyone else.

Note also, that like most politicians she’s certain that all her problems (approval rating) are somebody else’s fault.

  2. It would be complicated. She is currently the tie breaker in an evenly divided Senate. While she could vote herself into the Supreme Court, that could leave the Senate deadlocked. Brandon would then have to come up with a Vice-Presidential candidate that could entice at least one Republican to cross over. The Republicans would have some incentive to do so because if anything happened to Joe, Nancy Pelosi would become President.

I doubt that. They know she’s unelectable. I’m sure there’s much more concern about her ascending by default, when Biden keels over/ soils himself in public / forgets his own name etc etc

  4. She’s 2 years and change away from being in Position A to be the D nominee for President . . .

She has a three years and change chance of becoming President by default; Biden could easily become incapacitated or die (the former is very likely). All she has to do is sit there and not do anything warranting impeachment. She can’t be fired and isn’t obliged to take up any offers. This is her only chance at the top job and I think she knows it.

Isn’t it his job to propose a good lawyer, regardless of skin colour?
(I’d go for Thomas Sowell. Though he may not be a lawyer he can smell bullshit, which is what the SC should be about.)

She’s a complete fuck-up. You know it. I know it. She knows it. Yet she is now one step away from the Whitehouse and only the frailty of Dementia Joe preventing her from being the first female mix-and-match POTUS. She can’t be removed as Veep except through impeachment and by literally sitting back and doing nothing there is no basis for an impeachment charge.

So yes, in those circumstances why would she waste a good opportunity of simply being appointed POTUS by Dementia Joe’s death or disablement, an office that she is highly unlikely to win through election (even with Democrats manufacturing the ballots again).

She’d be a fool to accept any other role, even a Supreme Court appointment, at least at this stage. In the dying days of 2024 matters may be different.

  7. If she becomes President, the US will have to go on bended knee to China for forgiveness….which is an interesting reversal on the Chinese Empress tale…
