One of those mealy mouthed Americanisms that grates:
The Duke of Sussex has revealed that he “expressed his concerns” about the motives of a Saudi billionaire donor at the centre of a cash for honours scandal.
How about “said he didn’t like it”?

“Expressing one’s concerns” implies that one has a stock of considered judgements about the world, and is able to voice them appropriately. I can see why the Duke’s handlers would want to give that impression.
The storied Saudi billionaire’s activities were inappropriate and truly troubling.
I thought that was the whole idea of honours. You gave people a gong or a title, or allowed them to publicly associate with a celeb like Harry or Meghan, in return for them supporting a ‘worthy’ cause.
Which may of course be Harry and Meghan’s pocket money.
To whom were these concerns expressed, your Royal Highness?
Here now! No need to be so aggressive.
