I’ve seen “the Black Plague” recently but only from Americans.
Just as many Americans don’t like to say “Fred died” but prefer “Fred passed” maybe there are Yanks now afraid to say “Death”. I’m mildly surprised that such precious souls can bring themselves to say “Black” in such a context.
I listen to a lot of plague metal, myself.
Shouldn’t it be Plague of Color ?
