So, the perversion changes

We all thought he got sweaty and grinned horribly over raising people’s taxes:

So what to do? First, conclude that the Met is utterly corrupt. There is no other explanation for their actions. All the senior officers involved need to be disciplined, in my opinion.

How wrong we were. Apparently it’s really spanking policemen……

Fourth, we need a government that realises we face a systemic, existential crisis. It must appreciate we have faced fascism. It must be aware fascism has almost won. It must be willing to address that. It has to create unity and real choice. It has to sweep away the systems that let us reach this state. We need a democratic and constitutional revolution. We need all democrats to combine to guarantee the delivery of that now. We need them to name the enemy we face. We need to start this process immediately. We are in deep danger. We are in the biggest political crisis I have ever known. I just hope politicians can rise to it.

Come The Revolution The Spud Will Be King.

  1. So to fight ‘fascism’ we must introduce fascism. With Murph as Supreme Autocrat of course.

  2. Ah, but why does fascism menace us so?

There are any number of ways of seeing the photograph’s issued yesterday of the party Boris Johnson attended on 13 November 2020.

They’ve been frotting themselves into a fury over the Blond Beast going to an office cheese and wine in the middle of the Worst Pandemic In Human History, and fully convinced themselves this trivial nonsense would bring down a government that has a massive parliamentary majority.

When that, predictably, didn’t happen – adding insult to the psychic injuries of their apocalyptic predictions over Covid and Brexit also not happening – cue the Rick from The Young Ones impression. Fascists!

But, candidly, literally nothing anyone can say will alter the fact that this was very obviously a party.

And he’ll cry if he wants to.

  3. First, conclude that the Met is utterly corrupt. There is no other explanation for their actions. All the senior officers involved need to be disciplined, in my opinion. A total reorganisation is required and its excess powers need to be stripped from it.

Parallel enforcement agencies – maybe wearing black or brown shirts? Remind you of anyone historically…

Second, there is no point expecting the Met to take further action, and anyway this is all about politics now.

The police haven’t done what I wanted therefore the police need to be overridden

Third, the Standards Committee needs to suspend Johnson for lying to the House. The penalty should be at least ten days. Then there can be a recall petition in Uxbridge. This is the right way to punish this charlatan.

I’m no great fan of Boris but the idea that lying should disqualify you from public life would mean Murphy’s swift ejection. Almost every aspect of his ideology is predicated on a lie.

In some ways it’s pleasing to see the adolescent beneath the surface…

  4. The Meissen Bison

A good many moons ago I pointed to Murphy’s Law of Numerology which postulates that the higher the number of items in one of his lists, the more deranged the post and the arguments would be. It would be helpful, Tim, V-P and other stalwarts who quote from tuberous texts, if you could add for the rest of us, the total when you select an extract, e.g. :
    ninthly [27]…
which would allow readers to assess the likely bonkers quotient of what follows.

  5. “It must be aware (state control of everything) has almost won. … It must be changed … I just hope (those that use the state to control things) can rise to it.”

Jeez, he really is incapable to seeing past what he’s written two words earlier, isn’t he.

  6. “We need a democratic and constitutional revolution. We need all democrats to combine to guarantee the delivery of that now.”

Remind me, what side was he on during the battle to deliver what more British people voted for than anything else in our country’s history? Asking for a friend.

  7. If i had a leather trench coat and a fedora i’d be tempted to travel to ely and start banging on his front door at dawn whilst shouting Raus in my best german accent.

  8. “It has to create unity and real choice”

Ah, Unity through “Real Choice” – that will be the special sort of “choice” where, to ensure Unity, there is only one thing to choose.

Much like the special sort of “democracy” in a Democratic Republic.

Does anyone remember that other unhinged blogger who thought there should be only one sort of coffee, but that the sort available must be the one he preferred?

  9. Sam Jones

Eoin Clarke – that takes me back! Similar to another Owen (Jones) but far preferable to Murphy!

    TMB

On this occasion he stopped at 4 things then decided it was too much effort I think! Apparently he is looking after a relative according to the post. Still has time to Tweet….

    Various others

‘Real choice’ is to agree with Murphy – only ‘fascists, racists and homophones’ would disagree with him
After all and of course, according to the ‘Merriam – Webster dictionary definition – woke
Means ‘being in favour of Social Justice’ so if you are against ‘wholeness’ draw your own conclusions

  10. Loosely related, I supposed, but I’ve been amused by the usual bedshitters casting credibility to the wind over the very idea that a few flags over Regent Street constitutes imminent fascism.

  11. Sam Jones, thank you.

Golly, ten years ago; that reminds me of the huge amount of nonsense he peddled.

  12. More bizarre stuff coming from Murphy..he is increasingly more extreme and unstable and thats by his usual standards which are mad already. Definitely losing it..

“We do not have a democracy, from the Crown onwards”

Well we have aa general election in 18months time, when in all probability and thankfully a Labour govt will be elected..we have a full democracy not a flawed democracy or a hybrid democracy or an authoritarian regime..not my definition but that of the Economic Intelligence unit https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democracy_Index

It is your definition which is incorrect

    The Electoral Commission is corrupted

    The Lords is unelected

First past the post is not democratic

    Elections are being rigged

    The government is unaccountable

    The electorate are being disenfranchised

    Politely, don’t be stupid

    Or admit you’re a fascist

  13. “We need all democrats to combine .. We need them to name the enemy we face.”
The enemy facing democrats is called Richard Murphy.

  14. the potato has forgotten that Rick from the young ones was a comedy character and the least liked member of the household, not a role model. next the potato will be declaring himself “The Peoples Economist” aka Commmisar for life.
