  1. I expected the story to be in the Guardian. But it’s in the Telegraph. I can’t tell the difference between the two any more. Except for the Guardian’s constant pleading for money.

  2. researchers recommended that female-only shelters and relief services should be provided

Are these people criminally obtuse or have they genuinely not been paying attention to actual events over the last couple of years? (Both options being endemic among university researchers).

  3. @SBML: except you can read the Grauniad’s offerings for free, once you’ve batted away the outstretched begging virtual hands….

  4. Julia, ditto the noteventorygraphanymore. Just use your browser’s developer tools to read the text in the page.

  5. No worse than the socialist leprechaun who is the Irish president, couldn’t even condemn a church attack in Nigeria without bringing in global warming.

In a statement, President Higgins said that such an attack was made in a place of worship “is a source of particular condemnation, as is any attempt to scapegoat pastoral peoples who are among the foremost victims of the consequences of climate change”.

  6. – “researchers recommended that female-only shelters and relief services should be provided

Headline in the same newspaper: “Scots should be allowed to change gender ‘as many times as they like’

  7. Julia, you have to admire their socialist stance. Donations are not subject to tax…
Thanks, Wat, I’m going to start selling diaries in Porridgewogland. “Today I am male”/”Today I am cis”/Today I am Mildred”

  8. “Except for the Guardian’s constant pleading for money.”
No option have they? If they went to subscription they’d make about 30 bob. What happens when your readership is the Second Division, Free Stuff Army, Cavalry

  9. Any idea why these groups aren’t being cancelled due to their obvious transphobia? At least we know that natural disasters don’t stop one thing – the endless grift from the Non productive public sector and the ‘third sector’ – most of which are taxpayer funded sock puppets…..

  10. The Guardian has yet to apologise for its ‘dirty’ funding by the Scott Trust, which has roots in slavery. But as they seem to wish to enslave us all under some bastardized version of communism/socialism, perhaps they’re proud of their origins?

  11. I sneeze in threes

More better weather, more picnics. More picnics, more sandwiches. More sandwiches, more angry wife. Angry wife, unhappy domestic life. QED

  12. Van Patten: “At least we know that natural disasters don’t stop one thing – the endless grift from the Non productive public sector and the ‘third sector’ – most of which are taxpayer funded sock puppets…..”

In my experience actual, proper disasters, natural or otherwise, tend to thin the herd of the non-producing, grifting, and whining part of the populace. In various ways…

Which is, of course, what they are most afraid of…..

  13. The highest death rate from violence (in the UK and USA which have the most trustworthy# reporting systems at least) is among young, “black”, males. So why don’t we have shelters dedicated exclusively for their use?

    # Any other country is even worse.
