Do taxes fund public goods such as health, education, defence etc or are they funded directly by money created by the government for these and other purposes?

Thanks

Aye, Richard and I read them too. Hence, I am a little confused so excuse me. My daughter was also asking about this and I couldn’t it explain it properly. So if Tax doesn’t fund spending on public goods why should we be worried about Truss’s comments? My daughter and I would appreciate this being cleared up for us.

I am sorry – but I am quite sure you are wasting my time

  1. It shows how inept he is that in a post about 3 weeks ago he said that any new commentators would be asked to ‘validate their email address’ to prove they were ‘not a troll’ and already (maybe due to his third or fourth bout of COVID) it’s proven completely ineffectual…

  2. He refers his questioner to his nebulous thousands of other posts and books, because he can’t be arsed to decide what it is that he thinks on the subject at this second in time or, more likely, doesn’t know what the answer should be to support his current crackpot theory.

Given the man, I’m sure his books are, indeed, “odd”, but I’m not giving him any of my money or time to waste on buying and reading them.

  3. “I’ve read your books and blog posts and I’m confused” seems an excellent summary of the P³’s output.
