The Duke of Sussex has described the Roe v Wade ruling on abortion in America as a “global assault on democracy and freedom”.
Taking an issue out of the courts and into the legislatures may be many things but it’s not an assault on democracy now, is it?
How is it a “global assault”?
Or is this just her arrogantly assuming that the US is the only part of the world that matters?
Why bother with facts when you can get the approval of Hollywood celebs?
Its odd how when the US Supreme court make a decision the Left like (Roe vs Wade for example) thats ‘democracy in action’. Where as when they don’t (upholding gun rights for example) thats ‘unelected judges imposing their fascist views’.
How exactly does the average Leftist manage to hold all these utterly incoherent thoughts in their brain at one time?
And – forcing isolation on healthy people, coercing them to take experimental pharma products, forcing them to wear masks, prohibiting freedom of association, making pursuit of legal economic activities illegal, restricting freedom of movement is what, Idiot child?
Is it too late to poke the ginger whinger with a wire coathanger?
If Harry wants to pontificate about the US, then he should take up US citizenship, drop the foreign titles, gongs and all and have at it.
Until then he should keep his views to himself. If I’d behaved like that while resident in Malaysia (which has specific laws against resident foreigners interfering in domestic politics), I’d have been out on my ear.
I suppose that’s one of the advantages of being a Prince?
Sometimes a private education is waste of money when the seeds fall on stony ground
I have no problem with that. Spending money to send young Tarquin to Eton to live and sleep with his peers while playing lots of cricket and rugby is still a reasonable thing to do. At least he’ll know how to behave amongst his peers, even if he’s got a room temperature IQ.
Problem with Harry is not just that “He’s not that bright” (he ain’t), but that like all “spares”, once the elder brother starts producing kids of his own and thereby secures the lineage, there’s not that much for a spare to do.
As we’ve seen with the Toxic Tart herself, the royal spare can be used by ruthless parvenus on the make like our American ‘Z’-list celebrity divorcee for their own ends and Harry is a perfect example of this.
Maybe the Islamic idea of shoving them in a gilded cage is a better one. At least it stops them embarrassing us on the world stage.
Gilded cage? With the Ottomans young Harry would have been strangled with a silken cord.
Sounds like a winning formula. I bet Harry wouldn’t be a fan though.
. . . once the elder brother starts producing kids of his own and thereby secures the lineage . . .
All five Cambridges were seen climbing into the same helicopter just a few days ago. Apparently, Brenda has muttered about this and I don’t know why she doesn’t put her foot down.
Just one tail rotor linkage bolt prevents King Harry and Queen Meghan being a thing.
What Harry’s uncle did is far more of an affront to women on an international scale. Where’s that speech?
@Chernyy Drakon
Or is this just her…
A bit of misgendering there? Or are you privy to something that’s not been let out into the wild yet?
“I suppose that’s one of the advantages of being a Prince?”
It’s one of the advantages of the constitution. Even foreigners’ rights to freedom of speech are recognised.
Yes, I saw that and thought similar. Just takes some Islamic nutcase with a stolen MPAD from Afghanistan or the Ukraine and “Hey Presto!” King Harry and Queen MeGain.
Fortunately parliament still retains the right to pick the successor to the crown from those with close blood ties (as with the Hanoverian succession), so not required, but probably still a shoe-in.
William better make sure he keeps on the right side of Klaus Schwab and the WEF.
As far as I know Parliament can pick Jeremy bloody Clarkson if it so wishes. It just needs to replace one Act by a new one.
Sure, but the existing acts (The Act of Settlement of 1701 and Succession to the Crown Act (2013)) allows parliament to chose a successor from a wide range of individuals who are protestant and can trace their family lineage back to Queen Anne).
“a wide range of individuals who are protestant and can trace their family lineage back to Queen Anne”
I understand that Boris is descended from George II so, if only he were Protestant, he would be qualified.
YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
If Parliament skipped over Meghan can you imagine the chorus of howling woke screaming about systematic institutional racism
@Jim
How exactly does the average Leftist manage to hold all these utterly incoherent thoughts in their brain at one time?
They don’t have a cognitive brain, only an empty vessel that will obediantly recite the current thing message
Harry has mother issues, thus he married someone who would be his mother
@pcar
The letters NPC about sum them up.
Indeed, but it would reinforce the message about the supremacy of parliament over the monarchy and it would drive the right people insane. Good.
