We’re ahead of even George Monbiot

Why are we feeding crops to our cars when people are starving?
George Monbiot

Well, yes, as we said a week back:

FOOD GOES INTO PEOPLE, NOT CARS

  1. Petrol must contain 10% bio-ethanol because reasons
Making bio-ethanol to blend into petrol is bad
Therefore the proles must have no petrol (but the nomenklatura can still drive their Teslas and Taycans)

  2. He also wants at least 6 billion people to die and has done for many years! One of the few people who might be even more evil than Richard Murphy. Genuinely dangerous.

Not sure if he is as bad. Occasionally, he stumbles over the truth before picking himself up and carrying on without it.

I think he just longs for a time when the proles knew their place and deferred to people like him.

  4. George discovers the law of unintended consequences, but, as always, will ignore it. George always knows better and best.

  5. TBF, he has been against Bio-Ethanol for some time. Nothing to do with food shortages, only because he sees it as perpetuating fossil fuel use rather than eliminating it altogether.

Never forget he was vehemently against car use when he lived in London / Oxford, but purchased and drove a car when he moved to Wales…..

  6. Tim, Lord Frost has been reading you:

this Government’s strategy so far has been to obfuscate, pretend the technology is better than it is, and throw sand in our eyes with fantasies about thousands of green jobs based on renewables. (When will it realise that these new jobs are a cost of renewables, not a benefit?)

Looks like Frosty is right and the winter outlook is icy. A month ago, it emerged HM Gov were planning to ration power to 6 million homes in the “unlikely” event that Russian gas supplies to Europe stop.

I don’t think it’s unlikely at all, it’s very probable some combination of Russian pressure, Western politics or just plain old fashioned violence will bring the energy crisis to a head. Fighting a proxy war against your own energy supplier isn’t a sustainable strategy.

Naturally, this will be the fault of Brexit. I see Mr Johnson “refuses to rule out” a snap election – he’s gorn mad. The Tories would be absolutely murdered in any plebiscite held in the foreseeable. They’ve already presided over a massive decline in living standards and the bills have only started rolling in. It’s the economy, retards.

  7. There was a suggestion along the way that I should go to London to be Frosty’s aide. Didn’t pursue it as why take a pay cut to live in a more expensive place?

  8. Why are we feeding crops to our cars when people are starving?

Because of cunts like you, George.

“ There was a suggestion along the way that I should go to London to be Frosty’s aide. Didn’t pursue it as why take a pay cut to live in a more expensive place?”

Why do you need to be in London to provide advice? I know you are famously useless at technology but Zoom or other video conferencing can’t be beyond you?

  10. Would have thought the short answer: Because fucking environmentalists like Monbiot. Would have sufficed.

  11. “A Scottish Government spokesperson said: “This was an informal awareness raising event, held during Pride Month and Within Working Hours” – ie approved by Sturgeon & not “informal”

That’s 1.8 billion more alive than Gates’ 500 million target

    +1 on Frost

    @wat dabney
Yep, Moonbat and his ilk pushed for it and palm oil etc, then blame others when predicted consequences happen
