While I only listened on the radio, yet again, all the samples of teenagers getting their exam results were screaming happy girls. Where are the boys happy with their results? From the media portrayal, you’d gather ‘A’ levels were things only girls did.
The imbalance in subject choice between science and arts is striking. Clearly the teaching profession is populated by sexist dinosaurs pushing pupils into gender stereotypes.
