How conspiracists clean up from the gullible
As Richard Murphy shows, there are millions to be made from manufacturing false narratives to fulfil people’s darkest fantasies
Maybe The Times is now getting with the programme?

Sandy Hook obviously happened, but the behaviour of some of the parents was very strange indeed.
A couple days ago Tim reposted an article (complete with debunking) that asserted slavery was a coordinated method of making Britain rich. It struck me on reading it that here we have this huge controlled programme, but not one document, contemporaneous or otherwise, that can be cited in evidence for it. Jees, the Holocaust left a trail of documentation, but we Brts didn’t.
It was a huge conspiracy, probably the biggest ever!!!!!
So, if we’re linking to articles on peddlers of conspiracy theories, where do Guardian writers, indeed all Socialists fit in?
This is why I only listen to trusted experts, such as David Aaronovitch, who informs us that the “Racist ‘replacement’ theory has to be quashed”, that “Russia’s casual savagery is seared into its soul” and the startling news that, in Mississippi, “you can buy a machinegun without a background check and take it with you almost anywhere”.

Murphy is a millionaire?
Who knew?
No one is being held accountable for claiming:
– lockdowns we’re necessary to deal with Covid
– bail reform makes us safer
– no election fraud occurs ever
– Biden’s spending bills will reduce inflation and shorten the recession
A few of them have gotten rich, though.
Aaronovitch is the epitome of a smug, Islington Bubble wanker who know fuck all about fuck all. Sadly he gets paid shed loads to prove this, but his audience are equally dense so they lap it up.
I purchased a three months for a quid sub to the Times. Christ its a soft-Left, social-democrat, whine-fest. And the comments section is worse. Wah-Wah Brexit, Wah-Wah Tories, Wah-Wah Liz Truss, Wah-Wah Climate change, Wah-Wah Energy companies. The sub will not be renewed.
@Dennis
Never specifies millions of what. Maybe illegal immigrants, that would fit.
