Myself I would suspect a quote from the Association of One to One Counsellors.

No, that doesn’t make me a cynic, just a realist.

    As usual, media framing by providing a correct answer to the wrong question. The question should be: “are the apps better than the alternatives that are actually currently accessible?”.

    I don’t know current numbers but 40 odd years ago a psychiatrist treating some people I knew quite well said the success (recovering) rate was about 50% regardless of treatment or none. Of course no metrics etc, but it struck me at the time and since as about right..
