Oh, right.

Meghan had enjoyed a close relationship with Her Majesty, one of the only senior royals with whom she had remained in personal contact

It’s true. Her Maj used to have to sign the cease and desist letters.

If this trollop hasn’t ‘got it’ as a result of this last week’s proceedings she never will; although having bare arms in mourning dress strongly suggests she hasn’t. Normally I wouldn’t care less about her, but if she monetises the death of the Queen with tawdry, teary podcasts/articles I would gladly feed her feet first into a wood hipper.

The woman who was too cowardly to meet the Queen to explain she was leaving her job to become an Instagram influencer, and then unremittingly slagged her and her family off for the next two years had a “close” relationship with her?

Oh, I forget. She’s dead so she can’t even mention that her recollections might vary 🙁

@BiP: As remarked on Twitter, she’s American so has a right to bare arms.

I’m sure Her Majesty’s life was sufficiently well minuted by the palace that her recollection isn’t required.

Arthur,
Very droll, as Mr. Swindley used to say.

So the stunning and brave princess of colour and the beloved Monarch were actually besties (I concur with those observing that recollections would undoubtedly have differed on that particular whopper).

The rest of the Royal Family were/are the waycists.

Now read on……….

That part I can believe, because the late Queen was a thoughtful diplomat who wanted to keep her family together. What was in the hearts and minds behind those exchanges is unknowable to us.

Her dress had a built in cloak thing that covered her arms most of the time. She seemed quite demure and appropriately low profile. Compare with Lady Louise Windsor (or Lady Margarita Armstrong-Jones, wtf?).

. . . but if she monetises the death of the Queen with tawdry, teary podcasts/articles . .

I’m much more concerned about the whole lot of them monetising climate hysteria to the detriment of the people. My elderly mother keeps turning down her thermostat and being cold, while people who literally live in fucking palaces are funding them by licensing windmills.

. . . I would gladly feed her feet first into a wood hipper.

Seems harsh. I believe we have a relatively humane precedent for these sorts of things.

Baring arms are a human right – we just demand that our government recognize that;)
