What stress? Not having to go to school, exams soft-marked; it was a cosy time for many.
I’m prepared to believe that stress isn’t conducive to learning. It’s hard to concentrate when Jamal from next door keeps threatening to kill you. But this research doesn’t show it.
They may have aged, but they have not grown up based on the behaviour on exhibit. So stress doesn’t seem to work.
