Are they actually allowed to say this today?

Fritz Haarmann was born in 1879 to an already strange family. His father was known as “Sulky Olle,” and his mother was considered an invalid. There were six children in total; Fritz had his own set of hobbies: getting dressed up in dressed, playing with dolls, and never making any other male friends.

Thought we celebrated that these days?

Hanover’s vampire, better known as Fritz Haarmann, was a german Serial Killer that scared the wits out of people with weird vampire bites into their necks. He killed nearly 30 people before he was arrested in 1924.

Ah, maybe not.

  1. Give it six months and vampires will be added to the LGBTQ2+++////etc community. They will be known as BAPs – Blood Attracted Persons. We will be lectured by HR wonkista-sistas in corporate training courses lasting 4 hours (but with delightful vegan soft refreshments) about the necessity of finding fellowship with BAPs, learning to understand their needs, and understanding the importance of providing a safe space for BAPs to live.

    OK, somewhat far fetched.

  2. salamander: those communities of BAPs feature on TV all the time. I’m surprised they aren’t fully integrated into the community already. I thought that’s what the blood donor service was for…

  3. “We will be lectured by HR wonkista-sistas in corporate training courses lasting 4 hours…”

    Starting at Sunset, presumably.

  4. Vegan refreshments during powerpoint presentations for haemophilia ‘allies’ would challenge traditional stake-through-the-heart theory. A great idea. Let’s hear it for the night workers!

  5. I’m surprised that they could get away using the term “invalid”. I mean, the implication is that she’s not valid.

  6. Tim

You usually put up Obits for musos, so surprised you’ve not done one for the great Jeff Beck, RIP, PBUH?

  7. No remark about the political death (and resurrection, I expect) of Andrew Bridgen’s political career, Tim?

“… since the holocaust.” Are the people jumping on the antisemitism bandwagon aware that “since” and “than” are not synonyms?
Mind you, Bridgen’s claim about the vax “since” is up against some stiff competition: the Great Leap Forward, Cultural Revolution, sex selective abortion, etc.
I expect he’s just comparing it with thalidomide, the swine fever vax, etc.

  8. Philip, and no one has spotted that he just saying what he was told. He didn’t say it himself. As many say, retweet etc are not necessarily endorsements. They could be start g poi ts for discussion.

  9. It might be telling why it took the police that long to get onto him: He was a police informant, and used this status to deflect attention from him (the police knew he was a homosexual (a crime at that time) and a fence…).
He gained some cult status in Germany: Here is a popular song about him (with English translation of the lyrics..): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f5U3J069As8
Interestingly, the song claims that his accomplice lured young girls towards him – which was not true, both of them prefered boys: This was too much in these days – mass murderer and cannibal, yes – but “homosexual” too – no, that was too much…

And the medic he was quoting is an Israeli. Not that this will stop the usual suspects.
