Presumably you’ll not take female parts then?

The Crown’s Emma Corrin: ‘I’d love to play male and non-binary parts’
Actor famed for portraying Diana, Princess of Wales reveals desire to star in diverse roles two years after coming out as non-binary

After all, we’re told – endlessly – that white actors cannot take black or Asian parts, that straight should not take gay, that male should not take trans. So, logically, non-binary should not take female, right?

Or doesn’t it work like that? Because reasons?

  1. Added to the (long) list of actors/actresses, whose films I actively avoid watching because their views are unacceptable to me.

Examples are hypocrite leftie luvvies (eg Emma Thompson), environmental activists (Leonardo DiCaprio and Thompson again), Scottish and vociferous supporters of independence (Brian Cox, Alan Cumming).

Trivial gesture, but fvcked if I’m going to bump up their box office takings and salaries.

  2. “It’s interesting that I’m not offered male parts…”

I’m not surprised – I’m certainly not offering her mine.

  3. “Trivial gesture”: I’m all for trivial gestures. We are boycotting almost everything from France and Germany because of their misbehaviour over Brexit. But we don’t boycott Portuguese stuff because (we assume) Portugal had bugger all influence in Brussels.

Personally I’d laugh and laugh if we ended up with Russia invading Germany. Indeed I feel we should withdraw any troops we currently have on the Continent in case they get us muddled up in a war that is none of our business.

You do realise you’re not going to be able to watch any films . . . ?
