The woman who was drugged and raped by Roman Polanski when she was just 13 has told the film director’s wife that she never considered it a “big deal”.

Interviewed by Emmanuelle Seigner in French magazine Le Point, Samantha Geimer, now 60, said the incident never had lasting effects on her.

“I was fine, I’m still fine,” Ms Geimer said in a wide-ranging interview in which she hit out at the MeToo movement.

She really doesn’t like Gloria Allred – no much of the rest of me too either.

  1. Polanski should still serve every minute of his sentence though, and with extra added on for being on the run. Preferably with hard labour thrown in until he drops.

  2. Should she be prosecuted for perjury then? Because if she was fine and it was never a big deal, she definitely told some porkies about the porking.

  3. Bloke in the Fourth Reich

Whether she’s fine about it makes no difference though.

If she was so fine with it she could have kept it to herself instead of dining out on it for 40 years.

  4. PJF – drugging and sodomizing underage girls is a crime regardless of how the victim personally felt about it.

  5. She might be fine with it now, but Polanski was and will always be a child rapist. He can rot in hell for that.

  6. As long as Polanski is free, other children are at risk of being violated by him. And they might be affected much differently.

She wasn’t just raped, she was also drugged into submission. She can’t even use the excuse that she was “okay with it” at that point.

If the parents of a murder victim are somehow unfazed, does that mean the murderer should walk free?

  7. . . . drugging and sodomizing underage girls is a crime regardless of how the victim personally felt about it.

I’m in full agreement with you Steve, and I’ve ranted about Polanski and the hypocritical Hollywood cunts plenty of times on here. But Geimer’s current comments undermine her original testimony against Polanski as well as her 1988 lawsuit against him. They also don’t do anything for future victims of groomers and predators. I think she should be challenged.

Women are a strange species. I mean, I’m appalled by the horrors of ritual sexual mutilation of girls that occur in Africa (and here?) but it’s the women who had it done to them that continue the vile practise. It seems like some sort of Stockholm Syndrome. Geimer and Mrs Polanski seem to be suffering something similar. Having been minors sexually abused by people with power over them, they are literally appalled that this is no longer acceptable.
