Ms. Malik is not from the average middle class Sudanese family. She’s connected:
The fighting that has erupted in the Sudanese capital, Khartoum, and elsewhere in the country is a direct result of a vicious power struggle within the country’s military leadership.
There are clashes at key strategic places across the capital as members of a paramilitary force – Rapid Support Forces (RSF) – and regular soldiers fight.
Do doubt this week’s Guardian column will be about the violence inherent in Britain’s racist politics, of course….
But we would like to know which side she’s on here:
The RSF was formed in 2013 and has its origins in the notorious Janjaweed militia that brutally fought off rebels in Darfur.
You know, the people who were launching slaving raids?
Come on Tim, it is hardly fair to focus on Ms Malik’s family and background. Why not focus instead on her being a lying racist cunt who rocked up in the UK, benefitted hugely from what it has to offer, and subsequently misrepresented and shat on the nation and its inhabitants?
Because a goodly part of her shtick is how we’re all guilty because of past slavery. Which – I suspect at least – a lot more closely related to her family than it is to mine.
What matters is that combatants from whichever side gets the worst of it will be heading our way.
Not the women or post fighting-age men of course. Just the usual bearded children with receding hairlines.
In mitigation at least they will be fleeing a genuine war zone. Still, if we had a government with any pretence of cojones they would be told to save time and go directly to Rwanda (albeit collecting considerably more than £200 when passing go).
BBC headline
Sudan Crisis: Shock and anger in Khartoum, a city not used to war.
Well, it was the wicked Brits who stopped slave trading in Sudan. So I suppose the locals are just returning to their roots after the awful European invasion and, what was it, 57 years of occupation?
Still I agree John. It’d be so much better if they were left there to enjoy the benefits of their indigenous culture, and not have the vile white supremacist culture of the UK forced upon them. But of course Nesrine is trying to Sudanify the UK as fast as she can, anyway.
It’s amazing Sudan kicks off mere weeks after the witch of death, Victoria Nuland was in town.
Damn those cohencidences
Come on Tim, to be middle class in Sudan means to be connected.
