Cram them into a shoebox: that’s Britain’s new anti-migrant strategy – and it won’t work
Enver Solomon

Given that’s what the British upper middle classes do to their own proles – we buildthe smallest new housing in Europe after all, 76 m2 per household – why shouldn’t migrants get the same treatment?

Have I mentioned that I despise planners?

  1. “Have I mentioned that I despise planners?”

Frequently. An immigration policy is just another plan, though.

  2. Flightly off topic I s’pose

Have you noticed that none of the cvnts who write for The G have ‘normal’ names like Fred Smith or Frank Jones or Pete Brown… Enver Solomon….. FFS

They came here for a better life, is what we are giving them? If so then problem solved, if not they’re always free to go back from whence they came.

  4. Today’s Diversity news: Four very young children have been stabbed in a park near Lake Annecy, in France’s south-east, the interior minister says.

Reports say the children were aged about three years old and at least two were in a critical condition.

The suspect is believed to be a Syrian refugee, according to reports from Le Parisien, BFM TV and AFP quoting police sources.

    Was it good for Enver?

    I stand chastised and corrected:

At least I’m in good company:

“ It isn’t just now-a-days that this has been commonly misused either. Grammar Nazis have been long enraged about the “from whence” faux pas since as early as the thirteenth century.

Whence did this first start popping up? There are numerous examples of the “from whence” usage in works by Shakespeare, Defoe, Charles Dickens, Mark Twain, and even several in the King James Bible.”

  6. I met a young man this week who has been living in a hotel for months and been threatened by security staff for “staying out too late”. If he does it more than six times he faces being thrown on to the street.

Then don’t stay out late. Not complicated really, is it?

Presumably his parents were Hoxhaists. The fruit doesn’t fall far from the tree.

It’s hardly uncommon with hotels. Many have a policy of no readmittance after a specified hour. Otherwise they’d have to pay to have someone manning the front desk all night, for the odd guest who might need it.
I very much doubt it’s him “staying out late” is the problem. Shouldn’t think they’d give a monkey’s if if stayed out all night. It’s him banging on the door at 3AM & expecting someone to get out of bed & let him in they’re objecting to. If he wants a hotel provides that service, why doesn’t he move to somewhere a bit more up-market? Oh, of course, He’s not actually paying for it, is he? You are.
