    Didn’t someone (DK? Longrider?) set up a searchable service for “fake charities” at one point?

    This is possibly something else, but I had cause to try and find it recently. (And failed…)

  2. The definition of “fake” being that the charity receives a significant part of its income (30% or more IIRC) from the state.

    I don’t think it covered privately funded “charities” that set out to try to undermine the democratic process or just fuck up the country.

  3. This post took me all the way back to school. Some wag would impart to his peers what he thought was some juicy piece of gossip not being aware that everyone had already heard about it. He would then be told in jeering tones “tell us news not history”. I can still hear that jeering inflection, a mixture of mockery and contempt.

    BoM4 seems to have disappeared. No comments on here for some time and his Twitter account has been deleted. I hope he’s OK, he had lots of good insights that were always worth reading even if you disagreed.

    Absolutely true and Gov’t, EU fund most of them with taxpayer money

    @BiND
    BoM4 has been killed by Khan’s ULEZ expansion

    Western Bloke seems to have the same writing style, I just assumed he’d changed alias.
