Well

Imagine that he was doing it for the sexual thrill (hey, there’s near nothing that some human won’t find a sexual thrill)

A masked man who terrorised women in Somerset while dressed in black clothes has been found guilty of deliberately causing distress.

Joshua Hunt, 32, told police “I am not a gimp”, insisted he had not worn a gimp suit or owned one, and claimed he wore dark clothing to cover himself in mud.

Despite denying he was the infamous “Somerset Gimp”, who has been spotted by at least a dozen individuals over the past five years, he was found guilty at Bristol magistrates’ court on Friday of two offences under the Public Order Act of causing intentional harassment, alarm or distress. He was fined £100 and ordered to pay £200 to his victims.

Sounds an awful lot cheaper than a professional habit, no?

  1. Bloke in the Fourth Reich

Now we know his identity proceedings are in place to expel him from the Worshipful Company of Squirrels.

  2. Is this bloke a transblack, or is it just that black is fashionable these days?

Or maybe it’s that blackface is now considered uncouth.

  3. “and ordered to pay £200 to his victims”

I’m calling bullsh*t on that. That will actually have been a “£200 victim surcharge”. The victims will see precisely none of that.
