Get the blame in early, eh?

London violence ‘direct result’ of Braverman’s words, says Khan

Just think if it’s true though (it ain’t, but….). We’ve now a Home Secretary willing to call out the English mob. Which is going to be interesting as that English mob has been enough to turn matters more than once in the past.

  1. In normal times that mob is restricted to a very tiny group of young men who like a ruck. Hopefully the disgusting bias of the BBC and other MSM displayed in yesterday’s reporting will swell its ranks, and more ordinary people will be ready to protest. Trouble is, the Muslims and the Marxists care more about Gaza than the English do about their own culture.

The BBC are now working overtime to get rid of Braverman. She could be our last chance.

  2. I see Fishy Rishi found a nice comfortable fence to sit on, criticising the counter demonstration AND the Hamas fanciers as if they were equal…

  3. What right-wing social media has been saying for the past week or so – that the so-called ‘counter protest’ was a trap to further demonise the right – has been proven correct.

  4. From elsewhere:
“One of the Mayor’s key responsibilities is overseeing the work of the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) – setting the priorities for policing and community safety in London, agreeing the policing budget and holding the Met Commissioner to account for delivering a professional, efficient and effective service to Londoners.”

So Khan is blaming the Home Secretary for his own inability to do his job?

  5. Sam – The BBC are now working overtime to get rid of Braverman

So are the Tories. Fiver says Rishi will sack her by Christmas.

Talking Suella isn’t going to do anything, you understand. But this is an opportunity to further close the Overton Window and put whites back in their box.

You may have noticed that, despite (because) being on the winning side of the most popular political opinion in the country (Leave), Brexiters have since been completely excluded from elected politics.

  6. As George Orwell put it — ‘In a time of deceit telling the truth is a revolutionary act.’

Braverman has simply told the truth about the political bias and cowardice of the Metropolitan Police – and it’s proven too much for the BBC and the more left-wing (ie nearly all) members of the dead-tree press.

  7. BJ – you forgot Taqiyya Phillip Schofield, who never misses an opportunity to share a greasy, kebab scented lie.

What does the Bible say about allowing foreigners to rule us?

  8. “What does the Bible say about allowing foreigners to rule us?”

It tells us to allow ourselves to be ruled by the Phoenician god El, though it does confuse things a bit by later renaming him Yahweh. No doubt a scholar will drop by to explain.

  9. Steve:
“The BBC are now working overtime to get rid of Braverman

Agreed. I think the decision will be made this coming week, as the Supreme Court is due to rule on the Rwanda Scheme on Wednesday. If it goes the government’s way, Rishi will not dare to sack a popular home Secretary who has apparently delivered a policy that meets widespread approval. If the government lose, however, he can say she failed and off she will go.

I wonder if Gove will have anything to say about it, having been put in fear of his life by a Hamas-inspired mob during the ‘mostly peaceful” demonstration. The BBC briefly reported it as a minor confrontation, but hopefully people will have been able to see different less sanitised versions on Twitter and elsewhere, and perhaps see the extent to which state-sponsored gaslighting now prevails.

  10. Steve, we live in a third world ‘shithole country’ because those we have elected over the last 60+ years to represent US , have had their own (or someone elses) agenda which is diametrically opposed to those they are supposed to represent.

  11. I wish you luck with your Supreme Court decision, Sam.

Of course considering some of our High Court’s decisions here in Oz, I’m not too hopeful.

  12. “One of the Mayor’s key responsibilities is overseeing the work of the Metropolitan Police Service . . . “

Another argument for returning strategic control of London to national government. If London is to be the home of Parliament then Parliament should run the home.

  13. i see our useless pm has sacked Suella. How he thinks this will help his chances is beyond me. Making your decisions based on the Guardian is a vote loser. Coward.

  14. How he thinks this will help his chances is beyond me

He wasn’t installed to win elections or do conservative things. Very important, as he hands over the baton to Labour, that the cheekily grinning little turd closes the Overton window on his way out.

Now Talking Suella can talk a great game from the backbenches. She was already in opposition while in government. Always telling a cool story about what it might be like to have a conservative government.

  15. David Cameron in Downing Street.

You may remember Dave, threw a hissy fit and resigned in disgust at us for not voting Remain.

It’s a cavalcade of cunts. Theresa May will probably slither out of a toilet next.

  16. I’m afraid Steves right. Sunak obviously wants to get back to earning millions at Goldman Sachs in New York.
As Steve says it’s a cavalcade of cunts. Personally it’s a shame locally as our local Conservative MP seems like a good guy, and the prospective labour mp is a left wing immigrant hugging wanker.

  17. . . . grinning little turd closes the Overton window on his way out.

I’d say the Overton window just got kicked in and boarded over. Ready for the gas-the-jews graffiti.

  18. Theresa May will probably slither out of a toilet next.

Did you see her at the Cenotaph yesterday? She looked about 80 and 16 stone. Being an ex-politician doesn’t seem to suit her.

  19. Good article by Allison Pearson in Telegraph

. ‘My friends and I are “Far Right” too’

He wasn’t installed to win elections or do conservative things. Very important, as he hands over the baton to Labour

Yep, been saying that since Sunak installed. Socialist ‘WEFi’ Sunak and Hunt want Labour to win

The coup is complete, remain has won and democracy has lost

  20. @ Pcar

She in no way explains why she is a Christian. At most the essay is a rationalisation of a strong but vague fear of there being no unifying motivational philosophy underlying the “West”, and how maybe a return to Christianty might provide it. She doesn’t mention any personal religious aspect to her interaction with Christianity – she’s going to church to try to understand it.

The only useful explanation for a person being a Christian is some genuinely felt religious experience that convinces them that a being called Jesus Christ is the Son-of-God/God who loves them and is their saviour / route to eternal life.

    All else is wibble.
