This is untrue

The governing body for cricket announced new regulations Tuesday that will prevent transgender women from competing in international matches, joining other sports like swimming and rugby with similar restrictions.

Transgender women can play in any mens match they can qualifuy for. On the fairly reasonable grounds that, physically, they’re men.

  1. In the interests of fairness, I also feel that transgender men should be banned from competing in any mens competition. On the grounds that they’re just a bloody nuisance.

  2. I have never seen a “transgender woman” in my entire life.

Since “transgender” is complete bollocks they just made up in the 90’s.

  3. Is there any adult sport or game which only has open competition? Kudos to them. Training racehorses perhaps, and scrabble.

Jockeying is open to all. As is all equestrian stuff, like 3 day eventing, dressage, show jumping etc.

I doubt there’s an actual rule that says a woman can’t drive an F1 car, just that none have ever been good enough, or cared enough to get good enough. I’m sure NASCAR had a female driver for a while.

  5. Lella Lombardi scored a few points in F1 in the mid-70s. A handful of other women have competed, but none in the last 30 years.
