Well, that was a surprise

A jury in Manhattan federal court convicted him on all seven counts of fraud and conspiracy

  1. Its all going according to my prediction. Found guilty in short order by a jury, will be let off by a bunch of Democrat judges at appeal. Or he’ll just be Arkansized in jail first. Too many skeletons in too many closets for any other outcome.

  2. I’m surprised the jury were so quick. 4 hours. Just enough time for the supplied lunch. Sounds like they had already made up their minds. No deliberation.

  3. He is not due to be sentenced till 28th March (why?) and it’s going to be a long sentence. It’s just as well his $250 million was revoked.

  4. @SBML

Listening to the Michael Lewis podcast it seems like the defence was pretty ineffectual and the best they could hope for was a hung jury

SBF had provided so much ammunition for the prosecution on social media and ill advised interviews even taking the Sturgeon defence wasn’t going to save him
