I heard Meghan actually thought she was going to be a princess and live in Windsor Castle.
There’s a reason the royals rarely married out of the princely or aristocratic families…..

Don’t marry Yanks 🙁
Don’t marry Yanks
…except Grace Kelly?
“Don’t marry Yanks”….
I dunno.. I actually think they should, given that actual Yanks tend to be pretty sensible people. Lots of common ground, usually.
What you shouldn’t marry, or preferably even associate with, is the spawns of the US-ian Establishment, who developed a sort of Nouveax Riche attempt at what they imagined actual european nobs/royalty behaved like.
Along with a deep love for salon socialism, reading their own poetry in public, and possibly some other failings.
Meghan is that, plus “Black”, with the ingrained inferiority complex and Entitlement issues as an added bonus.
Old Liz should have been more clear about this matter. The phrase “Nuke it from orbit”comes to mind..
Then again… Spares don’t have to have common sense.. They just need to live long enough to become ex-Spares and join the rest of the ranks of once-weres.
Meghan should live in a Ho-tel.
Meghan actually thought she was going to be a princess and live in Windsor Castle.
But instead ended up as Mrs Harold Hewittson of no fixed address.
P.s. she shouldn’t get her hopes up about Charles’s will and 50% of the Duchy of Cornwall. Number one son has already snaffled it.
She is just a faulty helicopter rotor blade from tne Top Job.
Ottokring. Yep, (unless they now have a travel separately policy)-
The pilot for the Thai Leicester FC owner killed in a heli crash, had had the then Gloucesters on board a couple of weeks before.
Parliament is supreme. They would (perhaps?) change the Act of Settlement to ensure that neither Harry nor Andrew would inherit the throne.
Hurray for the Glorious Revolution!
P.S. Why do so many Yanks believe that their rebellion was directed against the Divine Right of Kings given that we had abandoned it three generations earlier? Propaganda in their schools, presumably.
I’ve been saying it all along. She thought it would be Royal Balls and flunkeys by the dozen, then discovered it’s pretending to be interested in snotty-nosed schoolkids’ finger-paintings on a wet afternoon in Slough.
“P.S. Why do so many Yanks believe that their rebellion was directed against the Divine Right of Kings given that we had abandoned it three generations earlier?”
Propaganda, sure, but George III was trying to bring it back. His antics at home are well-documented. Nobody else had believed in it for a hundred years, but he and his courtiers did. It still wasn’t the direct cause of America, but it didn’t help.
Ottokring,
No she isn’t, the next in-line aren’t permitted to travel with the Sovereign.

William is next in line.
Followed by his children, George, Charlotte and Louis.
I expect at the very least they keep one locked away at home while the others are out and about.
I think that was Otto’s point.
William, his missus and kids had a habit of all being in the same helicopter on occasions, against all protocols. Hence, one duff blade and: Charles > Harry…
“had a habit” – allegedly…
PF, it wasn’t a protocol fail at all. Until Charles became King William wasn’t the heir. Now he is, and now they don’t.
Tsk.
I am quite aware of how succession works thank you all.
The Cambridges did all fly together. I have not seen any teports lately that state whether or not they still do. With HMK in his present uncertain state of health, separate travel is now of greater imperative.
BiW
Fair enough, protocol was probably the wrong word.
But even with Brenda on the throne, it’s still not what I would regard as good practice, having heirs 2, 3, 4 and 5 all on the same chopper, even if heir 1 wasn’t. Especially given what was happening with heir 6….
Broke: the Divine Right of Kings
Woke: the Divine Right of Black people
Hence, one duff blade and: Charles > Harry…
Harry should be the king though, he and his wife are perfect for the role. If they’re not available, we should coronate Marcus Rashford.
Or Lineker.
At least we could be sure the crown would never fall off.

Meghan is that . . .
Nah, she was nowhere near the US establishment; even nowadays I doubt she’s more than merely tolerated at some level with her royal title. Trump with his occasional billions is nowhere near the US establishment. There’s some old money over there.
Let’s hope she hasn’t seen Kind Hearts and Coronets.
Unfortunately, Meghan and Harry are not just tolerated, but seemingly loved by a certain set of the Female Chattering Classes.
The circles I spend most of my time in, however, can’t stand her.
Would be interesting if through some circumstances he became the heir what pressure would suddenly be applied to have a paternity test carried out
