Right-wing Tory MPs want Mordaunt to oust Sunak
There is no universe in which Penny is right wing. That those who are our current self-declared right wing think she is is the very problem to be faced. That there is no right wing to be had…..

I think a lot of them fantasise about Penny’s firm grip.
Being Tory MPs, they would only be interested in Penny’s grip if she was a tranny.
They chose the Indian midget as leader by coup d’etat, said Indian midget having been largely rejected by the party at large for being a WEF stooge amongst other things.
There is no salvation for this bunch of bastards, through Penny Mordant or any other of the remaining pygmies of the formerly Tory party.
Roll on a General Election and lets get these bastards ousted once and for all.
Tories delenda est!
Time to chant Zero Seats! again I think.
Lord Frost, David Frost as was, was particularly scathing about Penny Mordaunt at the previous leadership musical chairs. Guido Fawkes puts up occasional bits of video which do her no favours because although what she says is witty for Hansard, she delivers her script as though she has never seen it before which she probably hasn’t.
If the Tories wanted to apologise to their dwindling membership – and frankly who else cares? – they could do worse than invite Liz Truss to return and remove Cameron while they’re about it.
We’re long past leadership “musical chairs”. We’re now just rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.
Let the phuqers sink for God’s sake!
It would be a small step in the right direction.
She is at least ‘center centre left’ rather than ‘centre left’ or ‘left’, like the rest of that shower.
Still the wrong side of the median though, so doesn’t ficpx the fundamental wrongness of their offer.
Appeals to the “country slister” type of Tory idiot because she combines expensive gloss, what passes for sex appeal, and a faint military aura. She represents the north of our city, so we see her around a bit.
She was briefly in the Naval Reserve, which she makes much of. I’m wondering what they actually got her to do. A part-time appearance for a philosophy graduate. How did this contribute to the defence of the realm?
Let her have a go at the leadership. It would at least convince the public that the “Conservatives” have completely run out of talent.
If she’s seen as a credible saviour for their party the sooner the wipe-out comes the better.
Penny Mordant is Cupid Stunt with worse jokes and saggier tits.
Another useless cat lady who has failed to procreate, and wants to unleash the rainbow lanyard perverts on other people’s children.
Strange women standing around in Westminster Abbey holding swords is no basis for a system of government.
And given how Mourdant is fulling on board with the trans madness, hopefully she’ll be kicked out at the next GE, or if not joins the Lib Dems where she rightfully belongs
Sam,
Penny joined a few years behind me in the RNR training pipeline; indeed, I was detailed off to speak with her when she presented herself to a recruiting evening (no great hardship, I might add). When I later realised she was “your Conservative candidate for Portsmouth North” I cynically assumed that if she lost we’d never see her again, while if she won… we’d never see her again.
Instead, shortly after the election, she was turning up in the New Entry class and getting on with training.
She put in the effort to get through basic militarisation and passed her course at BRNC, which takes a couple of years of effort (back then it took around three or four years to commission as a sublieutenant, for most candidates; about a year each for basic militarisation, BRNC, sea time and Fleet Board)
When she was appointed to the Select Committee for Defence, she was strongly advised to take a sabbatical from her RNR activity, stopping her advancing further in practical activity; though she continued to support the RNR in more honorary capacities. I’d not claim she was outstanding or exceptional, but she signed up, put in the work, and got through the hard part of the system to qualify.
For a little perspective, when I joined up a few years before, I brought the number of YOs in the gunroom up to eight; of which only two of us managed to emerge at the end with gold on our shoulders and scrolls from the Sovereign describing the “special trust and confidence” she reposed in us, the others falling away for various reasons; the attrition rate for those discovering RNR officer training was harder than expected, was high back then (think it’s still significant now)
I brought the number of YOs in the gunroom up to eight;
So if she’d stayed, she’d be quite adept at handling a 4 1/2 incher.
