There are 2,781 billionaires. 15 of them are under 30.
Jim
I wonder how many female billionaires have inherited their wealth? Will the Guardian reveal that shocking stat?

Presumably the graun has no problem with the likes of the reliably left-wing Mackenzie Scott or Melinda Gates who only sort of inherited theirs.
Also it’s a bit sexiest of them referring to Ben Francis as an example of a youngster who actually earned his billion crusts while ignoring the astute (she has some very good advisors and actually listens to them) and hard working Swiftie.

I want to see the guardian leftists tying themselves in knots about Taylor swifts alleged $billion – largely garnered through record sales and touring – so already taxed unlike the unrealised gains of shareholdings and earned through what seems like a fair and willing exchange of fans buying her music or attending her concerts.
Would they have had her stop performing once she reached a certain level? or intentionally make less popular music (the soviet solution) or work for free?
Next they will be claiming her success was only possible due to her wealthy stock broker father because bankers bad.

Yes, they “earned” theirs on their backs. Which is as good an option as any other, but I doubt will be mentioned by the grauniad.
