Fighting words

I wonder whether BLM fell into the trap of believing their own propaganda. Modern police bodycams generally suggest that an awful lot of black arrestees are very lucky not to have got the living crap beat out of them, and modern police tolerance for them is way too high, if anything.

How the judge in the Buy Larger Mansions case got away with banning bodycam footage is amazing. It’s almost like Barack had some influence over the DoJ…

I was in Tottenham when PC Blakelock murdered dozens of anti racist protesters.
If only he’d been wearing a body cam he’d be in jail today.
Instead of dead.

BLM’s basic demand has always been that black people shouldn’t have to obey the law if they don’t feel like it.

@Jonathan

BLM’s basic demand has always been that Dems shouldn’t have to obey the law if they don’t feel like it. Rs on the other hand — even (especially) if they are black — should have trumped-up* charges thrown at them from all angles.

FTFY

* Or is that Trumped-up??

Funny story – some years ago a small town ordered bodycams for its police force. They arrived & the cops started wearing them before they were operational, just to get used to them or waiting for software, something like that. Complaints against officers for all kinds of misconduct – foul language, excessive force, you name it – dropped dramatically. Quite a coincidence.

Just having that lens staring you in the face tends to make people less froggy.

Unless they’re too high to notice.
