Umm, no mate, no

Marlena Meczynska-Shiibashi, 38, waited until her boyfriend, 50, had fallen asleep and then poured bleach on his face.

As he was confused and fumbling for his clothes in the dark, she stabbed him in the groin, narrowly missing his penis.

The music teacher later said in court: “I wanted to harm his penis but because he moved I got his thigh instead.”

On Friday, she was sentenced to seven years in prison at Lewes Crown Court after she pleaded guilty to wounding her boyfriend with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

The court heard that the couple had been in an on-again off-again relationship since 2011.

On the day of the attack in April last year, Maczynska-Shiibashi had tried to initiate sex with her partner at her home in Hastings, East Sussex, but he refused, saying: “Please don’t.”

‘I realised it was bleach’
He then went to sleep but was woken when he felt liquid being poured onto his left cheek.

He told the court: “My next recollection was some liquid being poured over the left side of my face. When I inhaled I realised it was bleach. It went into my nose and ear.

“I sat up straight away and that’s when she threw the remainder of the contents of the glass into my face.”

The victim said he tried to use his phone torch to find his clothing and managed to get his socks on when he was stabbed in the groin.

Blinded by the bleach, he described feeling warm liquid running down his leg.

Putting your socks on might not have been the appropriate reaction to some crazed bint trying to cut your willie off……

If the bloke has any sense, this is now a permanent off-again relationship.

“Never sleep with anyone crazier than you” really ought to be taught in school.

She offered her honour.
He honoured her offer.
And all night long he was on her & off her.
Except when he wasn’t.

Putting violently mentally ill people in prison for short periods of time (she won’t do seven years) sort of looks like justice, but doesn’t actually solve the problem of violently mentally ill people being free to roam our society.

No indeed, Steve, but what would solve it wouldn’t apply because of that ‘mentally ill’ tag.

JuliaM – yarp. There was nothing wrong with loony bins, with nice high walls and plenty of lovely calming drugs.

The way residential mental health got completely monstered in the 70’s and 80’s was crazy. Remember – society decided to abandon these people to their insanity as a virtue signal.

I didn’t realize Ronald Reagan’s reach was so far that he got all the UK insane asylums shut down, too.

(Here in the US, it’s a shibboleth among the left that the problems with mentally ill homeless/criminals is because Reagan put them all out on the streets.)

Nothing to do with Ron – woke idea before the USA (outside California) decided to make “woke” fashionable.
A fashionable left idea “care in the community” because “mental hospitals” (formerly known as “lunatic asylums”) were less nice than family looking after the sufferer at home – largely because the individuals who made *their families* suffer *a lot* and could not be looked after at home had to be supervised for the protection of the community, and prevented from harming others, which means not majoring on gently soothing by wiping the fevered brow.
Thatcherites believed in protecting the innocent and retained the secure hospitals from the criminally insane while failing to reverse “care in the community” because it had not yet been seen to fail (that takes time and the sponsors had engaged in Public Relations highlighting the significant minority of successes and ignoring or downplaying the failures).

It was Nurse Ratched who gave looky bins a bad name. Before her an institution like Colney Hatch had an appropriate and friendly sounding name as a nest for the cuckoo.

“Maczynska-Shiibashi”? Half-Polish half-Japanese? Unusual combination.

Strange about the socks. I normally put my pants on first whenever I find myself in that sort of situation.

7 years seems a bit light, two tier sentencing is still alive and well I see

ONS: Mixed White/ Black, mixed White/ Asian and Caribbeans have the highest ‘divorced’ rate, at over 10%

As civilisations are racial – not social – constructs, inter-racial breeding needs to be gently discouraged…

Louise Fletcher, a wonderful actress. She got typecast as the bitch, but that’s only because her ice cold blue eyes sold it so well.

I’m annoyed about the demise of loony bins, because I used to assume I’d end up in one. There’s a lot worse places to end up than the nuthouse, you could be in Swindon instead.

When I was a young lad the worst insult you could dish out or receive, was to stuck your tongue between your teeth and lower lip and shout “MENSTON”…

Ours was Claybury.
I bought most of the roof of Colney Hatch asylum. It lives on as a great deal of mock antique furniture.
