I’m not even going to read this article

How I beat overwhelm: I loved Twitter – but Musk and menopause made me quit

We’ll just leave that there as a proof that men and women are mentally, as well as physically, different, shall we?

Or at least, that The Guardian isn’t doing much to dissuade us of it.

When did “overwhelm” become a noun?

tl;dr: Extremely online leftist is outraged by non-leftist’s opinions.

One of the mysteries of the online world; sarcasm doesn’t show but you can hear the stamping feet of a sulking Lefty right off the screen…

I am fed up.with the far right media presenting Reform as friends of the working class.
Farage has links to Nomad Capitalist.
Tice had offshore accounts.
How is that patriotic?

Then perimenopause left me struggling to cope with the dizzying churn of online input. The internet claims about 6,000 tweets are posted each second and it felt as if I was seeing every single one, constantly flooded with unsolicited opinions and chatter.

Female brain gone insane.

X became a focus for my anxiety, too: every time I opened the app (which I did mechanically, hundreds of times a day) my fingers tingled with an adrenal lurch of dread. It was once a happy place, where I would thoughtlessly post any old nonsense; now, it felt exposing and hostile. One of the last times I plucked up the courage to post (a photo of one of my hens in a tree), someone crossly asked why I hadn’t answered their email – hardly dramatic, but in my hormonally challenged state, it sent me spiralling.

Brb, constructing a time machine so I can go back to 1912 and kick every male supporter of the Suffragists in their tiny soft balls

Elton – I am fed up.with the far right media presenting Reform as friends of the working class.

I thought you were fed up with being bummed.

I paraphrase ,but “Twitter was such fun before Musk.”

Of course. No lefty ever dozed a woman for having the wrong opinion or abused their position as a BBC presenter or joined on any pile-on. Didn’t happen,l. They were lovely, fun people.

Or maybe they weren’t lovely and they just don’t like having done to them what they used to love doing to others.

P.S.

I really enjoyed watching an old 8 out of 10 Cats from just after the 2014 Scottish referendum with Carol Voldemort on it. She smiled a readily agreed witness Sean Locke that referenda were a great thing because it cut directly people’s views on an issue, unclouded by all other issues as normal elections were. Of course that was a referendum proposing something she LIKED, bless her little lefty heart.

Now, take Brexit: She feels very differently about referenda proposing things she doesn’t like. And as we all know now, she does like to get her own way. So, if people are allowed to disagree with her on Twitter, well then, it’s a terrible place.

There’s an old song, Home On The Range, in which one line extolls a place “where seldom is heard a discouraging word.”

I’m convinced that would be woke-female heaven.

Steve: “Female brain gone insane.”

yes,,, and it’s only the onset of that period in which females, even amongst females…, are notoriously wholly and totally rational about things…
Imagine what we can expect from this Worthy in the future…

I’d agree with this to some degree actually..

‘ That was the vibe back then: silliness, gossip and parody accounts, daft crazes and chat.’ – in 2010 even that was the case.

However, I think the rot set in under Dorsey with hugely excessive moderation by radical Left wingers (the entire moderation team appears to have been recruited on the basis of how similar they were to Titania McGrath in real life) – sod all to do with Musk. As with so many things you can point at supporters of the ‘Unholy Trinity’

– DEI
– Net Zero
– Big Trans

Any censorious account is pretty much guaranteed to be a supporter of one, if not all three.

The fact this is one of the better articles on the website suggest Reform can shut it down with minimal pushback from people in the Real world, whether on grounds of Libel against Whites or national security for its support of the hostile power that is the EU.

Oh, give me a home where the buffalo roam,
And I’ll show you a house full of shit.

Home, home on the range,
Where the deer and the antelope play;
Where seldom is heard a discouraging word,
For what can an antelope say?
