The accusations levelled at Soumahoro by Maréchal and her followers have been rebutted by the academic as an “unspeakable aggression”, a “violation” of her intellectual arguments and a distortion of the very meaning of racism. They have also been debunked in some detail by Mediapart: they simply do not hold up to scrutiny. Maréchal accused Soumahoro of being part of a “radical and provocative ideological fringe”, because she “promoted the concept of ‘racial burden’”, and endorsed the “conspiracy theory” of “white privilege”.
Another of the complaints is that in 2016 she took part in a summer camp devoted to decolonialism and that this was allegedly “forbidden to whites”.
Soumahoro has indeed theorised on the “burden of race”. This refers simply to what anyone who is not white has to face daily in societies not built to include them, and in which they constantly face discrimination. White people are privileged in not having to handle systemic racism. The allegedly racist summer camp was intended for people who personally face racism. Obviously this means people of colour.
So the allegations are true then?

Feel free to hop on a plane and fuck off back to your own societies then. Bye!
“How has the French far right managed to cancel a Black anti-racism scholar for ‘racism’?”
I dunno, to be honest. I’m not interested in how it works, I just want to see more of it.
“So the allegations are true then?”
If even the wokeinclusivekowtow EU parliament decides that a certain speaker may be a tad extreme, even for them… Yeah… You have to wonder….
Accusations being rebutted as an “unspeakable aggression” doesn’t mean that the accusations are not justified it means “how dare she!”
Challenging someone’s arguments is not a violation and the distortion of “the very meaning of racism” is the contention that people who personally face racism are obviously people of colour.
a distortion of the very meaning of racism
As any fule no, the very meaning of racism is “white man bad, hand over your stuff”.
Ahhh… it’s the old ‘I’ve faced racism, so I can be a racist when I’m being racist to others’ chestnut.
Dr Heinz Kiosk surely has something to say about this.

We are all naggers!
Well done the French right! Playing the Left’s tactics right back at them. That’s how it’s done.
From the article:

Try living in Tottenham, Tower Hamlets, numerous northern cities…
I view the burden of race as being the effective tax that non-Black Americans pay to the Blacks, the tax taking the form of putting up with endless crime, dole-budging, race privileges in employment, and so on.
Lincoln was right!
P.S. It’s my guess that many of the New Americans from Latin America will feel under no obligation at all to pay this tax (unless they can wangle access to it for themselves).
How in the world do white people manage to survive and even thrive in Africa, India, Asia, Central and South America – all societies not ‘built to include them’?
Are we just better than everyone else?
It’s my guess that many of the New Americans from Latin America will feel under no obligation at all to pay this tax
Why should they? Since most of them will have Indio ancestry, they have their own history of oppression & racial discrimination behind them.* Although, strangely, they don’t seem to be on the colonising nations’ earholes for reparations. Perhaps the backs would like to chip in for them?
*Or not behind them. S & C America has its own discriminatory ladder. Pure bred Spanish & Portuguese at the top with descendants of the early colonisers somewhat higher than recent arrivals & non-Spanish.. Then all the way down through different racial mixes to pure Indio or black. They don’t seem to get very excited about it.
It’s solid gold I tell ya!
But the event never happened. First, the French far-right MEP Mathilde Androuët wrote to Roberta Metsola, the president of the parliament, seeking the cancellation of the event on the basis that Soumahoro had made statements with racist undertones and casting doubt on her expertise. Then the French far-right MEP, Marion Maréchal, formerly a member of the National Rally, led by her aunt, Marine Le Pen, weighed in, stepping up the pressure with a post on X that denounced Soumahoro in even more forceful terms as “an anti-White speaker”
She has undoubtedly made statements with racist intent. She appears to have published about two things in a decade, and is most definitely ‘anti- white’. It’s a clean sweep so far for the National Rally.

So to argue against her bullshit is a ‘violation’? She may want to consider alternative employment. The article debunking the claims against her is in French (not an issue) but also behind a paywall. From the intro the argument seems to be that this racist has been threatened and that proves the claims against her are false. Without a doubt she is part of a ‘radical and provocative fringe’. The fact our idiot politicians have given credence to it doesn’t stop it being radical. Both ‘racial burden’ in an era where blacks have preferential treatment in almost every aspect of public life and ‘white privilege’ are little more than conspiracy theories.
As Simon Neale says – when can we get more of this type of argument in to the mainstream and begin pushing back against these racist ‘anti- racists’ more forcefully?
People of where?
