That’s lucky

Georgia Stannard was a 22-year-old student when a bus ran over her foot, and her right leg had to be amputated. She struggled to cope, then came an unexpected offer — she’s now a model and the face of a high-street shoe brand

  1. It’s funny that old comedy shows are becoming the Nostradamus of the 21st century. Python nailed the transgender thing in Life of Brian and this reminds me of Pete and Dud with the Tarzan audition…

No, that was in the days when shoplifting tended to be a solitary, secretive and peaceable sort of crime.

Many comedies relied on showing behavior that would be criminal if it occurred in real life.

No wonder comedies aren’t as popular as they used to be. How do you exaggerate, and not enrage people instead?

  4. Last Spring I went into a shoe shop and asked to try on a particular pair. “Oh no, we’ve not allowed that since Covid.”

  5. Regarding Pythion – I read that the Holy See of Antioch based in the Mariamite (yeast abstract?) Cathedral in Damascus may fall to the rebels this week.
I thought the MP team had made it up, but it’s still a thing, just.
