Platformer has obtained what it calls “the dehumanizing new guidelines moderating what people can now say about trans people on Facebook and Instagram.” Examples include “trans people aren’t real. They’re mentally ill”, “a trans woman isn’t a woman, it’s a pathetic confused man” and “a trans person isn’t a he or a she, it’s an it.”
It’s not just trans people. It’s pretty much anybody who isn’t MAGA. And it’s not really new, because marginalised people have been trying and failing to get Meta to moderate hate speech for a long time. But what’s different is that this is now policy, and the policy explicitly says that hate speech is fine when directed towards specific minorities.
Hate speech is indeed free speech, yes.
Posted before but worth repeating: To those who hate the truth, the truth will always sound like hate.
Examples include “trans people aren’t real. They’re mentally ill”, “a trans woman isn’t a woman, it’s a pathetic confused man” and “a trans person isn’t a he or a she, it’s an it.”
Yes, and?
Tranny going to whine about “marginalised” trannies being speshul because tranny?
Meanwhile, bears shit in woods.
This is on another blog posted by Carrie on 24 Dec 2024. From the second para I infer that Carrie is still an intact man, waiting for his bits to be reconstructed at our expense:
“Thorn said no, and has written an article explaining why. Thorn is the first to say that there are some very good people working in the NHS, and in trans care specifically. But the organisation itself is broken, and treats trans people appallingly. And it’s getting worse.
I’m writing this in my sixth month of having my basic healthcare refused by my GP, healthcare that the GP happily provides to dozens of cisgender people but which is apparently too difficult to provide to me. I’m a few months away from finally getting surgery I first asked to be referred for six years ago, a referral that was never made because the gender clinic doctor simply didn’t bother doing it, a mistake or deliberate omission that I didn’t find out about for two years. My next referral was delayed because the gender clinic made an appointment for the mandatory second opinion, never told me about the appointment, and then concluded that I had changed my mind about wanting referred because I didn’t attend. Another year gone.
So it’s fair to say I’m sympathetic to Thorn’s argument.”
BF, that sounds like ordinary NHS experience. I have similarly been forgotten about, removed from waiting lists, etc. etc. and every time I go for blood testing locally the clinic doesn’t do half of what the GP orders. SOP.
“a trans woman isn’t a woman, it’s a pathetic confused man”
1. The simple existence of his dick is proof he’s a man.
2. Expecting to have it lopped off at everyone else’s expense is pathetic.
3. Believing this will make him into a woman ticks the confused box.
Game, set and match.

Nothing stings like the truth.

They’re marginalised for a reason. No, society isn’t wrong – you’re wrong.
The report found that at least 36 trans and gender-nonconforming people were murdered in the United States last year, half of which were Black trans women.

Let’s hope he keeps his willy, those genital origami surgeries are a slow suicide. Trannies are talked into thinking they’ll have a ladies’ vagina, but are given a horrifying crotch wound that never stops aching and can fill a room with the smell of shit. Most of them end up having multiple surgeries after bits of their mangled willy necrotise and fall off and strange fecal bacteria colonise the wound, it’s Unit 731 stuff with an LGBTQ flag.
It’s not just the cock chop, I was reading about a young woman who recently had an artificial “penis” grafted to her stomach. She suffered major heart damage due to exciting new varieties of bacteria entering her body via the Frankendick. We hanged WW2 doctors for less.
Btw it’s typical, but still sad, to see Carrie raging about “dehumanizing” words while being wilfully ignorant (they never listen, not even to detransitioners, whom they hate) about the dehumanizing surgeries.
I can’t think of many things that cause more suffering to “trans people” than doctors. But not wanting to see a fellow human being subjected to a significantly shortened lifetime of agony and body horror makes you a “transphobe” allegedly.
I’m starting to think this “phobe” business is a crock of shite, meant to silence good people so that evil can flourish like antibiotic-resistant bacteria.
Being refused a winter flue jab because trans? Being refused blood pressure monitoring because trans? Bollocks.
Anyway, I thought Zuk had announced that Facebook was going to *stop* censoring things, so by definition there *aren’t* any guidelines on content.
Like jgh, I’m wondering what basic healthcare refused by my GP, healthcare that the GP happily provides to dozens of cisgender people but which is apparently too difficult to provide to me is he talking about? They’ve no-no’ed his request for a hysterectomy?
Norman,
“BF, that sounds like ordinary NHS experience. I have similarly been forgotten about, removed from waiting lists, etc. etc. and every time I go for blood testing locally the clinic doesn’t do half of what the GP orders. SOP.”
This sort of thing is inexcusable with modern CRM and workflow systems which can automatically assign work, trigger follow-ups, escalate if things aren’t done etc. But of course, the NHS don’t use them. Their administration is about as modern and automated as an office in an Ealing comedy.
The average small dental practice has better tech than the NHS. And this isn’t about money, it’s that a dental practice or a private hospital will just buy some off-the-shelf software and then maybe fit their processes to it. Where the NHS will absolutely insist they need it all done their way, so everything has to be hand-crafted. And of course, because there’s no yelling and firing in the NHS, no senior manager getting the boot because the budgets keep rising, IT can just keep going around and around in circles with constantly changing requirements. Until a new minister takes over and just cans the project.
WB, at one point I had my hernia op lined up to be done at the local private hospital working as overspill from the general down the road. Those people were on the case. Then the ticker acted up again, I postponed because of it, told Barts, waited in vain for consultant advice that I could go ahead, and then the financial year end/some allocation deadline popped up and they went dead silent. To the back of the queue for me.
With the prevalent crackdown on misinformation does anyone in government still have the nerve to call it the envy of the world?
Mind you most of the third world is making a determined effort to come here, in no small part for the “free at the point of service” treatments and procedures. Plus they don’t have to worry about being placed on waiting lists
WB,
“ The average small dental practice has better tech than the NHS. ”
I think using the term NHS is too generic. As jonnybonk posted recently he’s had an excellent experience, I’ve also generally had an excellent experience.
A case in point, our GP allows online booking of appointments and ordering prescriptions. When you attend an appointment there is a screen at the door, tap it, enter 1st letter of surname, select month and date in month and you’re checked in. I’ve also had generally excellent treatment in the hospital system. I could go on.
The problem is that there isn’t really a market and those with a shit service can’t use our system, for geographic as well as financial and political reasons.
But you are right, nobody gets fired when it doesn’t work.

“As jonnybonk posted recently” – fame at last.
Having recently spoken well of my cancer care with the NHS, I should point out that my referral to see the dermatologist has disappeared into thin air.
The report found that at least 36 trans and gender-nonconforming people were murdered in the United States last year, half of which were Black trans women.
Sounds about right. Around half of US murder victims are black blokes,
