Up to one in 12 in London is an illegal migrant
8% of London is there illegally? Note that’s not immigrants, nor asylum seekers. That’s illegals….
The new estimate has emerged in a study commissioned by Thames Water,
Ah, now this could get amusing. Back a decade or more Polly T was insisting that the inner cities were grossly underfunded and look, look, the proof was in the use of services – sewage esp – which proved that the capita was much higher, therefore the per capita was unfairly low.
The same source of the same info is clearly going to be an acceptable source, no?
Ahahaha, no don’t be silly. But is should be…..
“Polly T was insisting that the inner cities were grossly underfunded and look, look, the proof was in the use of services – sewage esp – which proved that the capita was much higher, therefore the per capita was unfairly low.”
This won’t change a thing. Polly & Co would still like to see more funding, regardless of how the recipients got there. Khan states it quite openly: “You’re all welcome!”.
1/8th ?
That all ?
Its not TW’s own analysis though is it? Its a third party using public data such as NI registrations to estimate the number of illegals. Its not TW working backwards from its own recorded sewage flows, which would be the most accurate proxy, given everybody sh*ts about the same amount per day. They’ve just commissioned someone to do the work at arms length, so they don’t get the heat.
explain to me again how fining the water companies over sewage outflows will solve the problem….
It could also be that Thames is miscounting because they’re using a ‘normal’ water usage rate and the people who are there illegally mostly aren’t paying for their water so they use a lot more?
Whatever they’re doing they’re not drinking much of it. Go to Costco in Chingford and it’s wall-to-wall melanin pushing trolleys piled high with bottled water. No wonder we have an environmental plastic problem.
Related note: this week went to the Northolt-Southall borders to buy a used car. Couldn’t believe the amount of rubbish strewn about. What a shithole. Most of these estates look late 60s – early 70s to me, quite like where an uncle and aunt lived in Hatfield. Reasonable housing in a reasonable environment, now but for the people there.
I wonder what the figure would have been if the characteristics of personnel in TV commercials had been compared with census returns,
