I’d say she was the perfect choice
Otto has essentially made my point for me. Since Lagarde is not actually implementing any policies with an eye to ‘the economy’, but to the tightening of the noose around the necks of EU citizens, and the enrichment and entrenchment of herself and her cronies, it doesn’t really matter whether she knows anything about economics.
I saw obituaries and Lagard and assumed it meant her obit. I could only hope.
It must boil Richie’s p*ss to see someone without economics qualifications getting such roles.
