Folk are folk, eh?

A former prisoner killed an ex-prison guard after he exposed his affair with a female guard.

Elias Morgan, 35, shot Lenny Scott, 33, six times as he left a gym in Skelmersdale, Lancashire, on Feb 8 last year, out of “revenge”. Mr Scott later died in hospital.

Morgan was found guilty of his murder at Preston Crown Court on Friday.

Mixing the men and the women does produce a certain tension and storm of emotion now and again, dunnit?

Whose bright idea was it, anyway?

Mr Scott may just have been doing his duty, but dobbing in a criminal who has access to firearms upon his release is a dangerous move.

I imagine that prison officers across the country, particularly those without families who can be threatened by his associates, are licking their lips in anticipation.

OT, but an interesting view of the UK from across the pond:
The political class in Westminster (and particularly the administerial bureaucrats in Whitehall) have run the country into the ground. Political incentives all align against any real fixes being made.

Theo

Excellent article except it omits the ongoing decimation of what little is left of our manufacturing capacity by absurd and completely unnecessary energy policies and the resultant costs.

Anyone who knows anything about human nature knows that the only female prison officer in a men’s prison should be Julie Bindel.

@ Theo. I was reading Dominic Cummings advancing much the same thesis yesterday

Norman,

Actually I may have found a use for Jo Brand. How do you like those milkshakes Jo?

BiS: I have little confidence in Cummings’ judgement after his enthusiasm for the lockdowns…

Theo, he may have said that lockdowns were a good idea*, but he revealed his true belief that they were nonsense when he drove 260 miles for a shag.

*Unless of course, they were only a good idea for the little people, not for the likes of himself, Boris, Starmer, Rigby, Burley et al

‘discharging a firearm regardless of who else was around at the time’

Heinous! He could have hit a Somali!

‘he exposed his affair with a female guard’

Gamecock has only spent a couple of hours in prison – a tour sponsored by the governor – but he should think having an affair with a female guard would carry BRAGGING RIGHTS. Haven’t seen pix of Sarah Williams; maybe that is the answer.

Scoring with Julie Bindel would require being carried on one’s mates shoulders a la Bobby Moore at Wembley.

I think a bloke would have more chance of winning the lottery, Otto. Bindel is the poster-hag “plain”, lardy butch lesbian misandrist. Rather my point.
