I guess you don’t follow Chris Snowden. It’s only just been acknowledged by the BBC but he’s been pointing out the rise in bootleg tobacco for a few years.
It’s even worse in Aus.
Oh I read Snowden right enough. I only meant to imply that this will only get bigger. It’s really the Laffer curve of sin taxes.
If you change the age limit then don’t you just shift what is ‘barely legal’ for every legal limit there is the issue of toeing the line but not crossing it

Yes, but the goal is not to protect children or draw a line. The goal is to ban all pornography. As such the line is merely a convenient front in the ongoing war to impose ever more censorship.

I don’t suppose I bought more than half a dozen legit packs of fags in the 20 years before I left the UK. And that was 2008. And few people I knew did, either. Paying UK shop prices was for mugs. I can even buy moody here. Although with Spanish being a few cents shy of 5€, it’s hardly worth it unless I get a couple thousand a time.
Bonnie Blue is no more than an enterprising and self-promoting whore with excellent marketing skills who has branded herself as a pornstar.

ISTR seeing the results of a “study” done in Aus some few years ago that analysed smoking usage by counting the numbers of fag-packets thrown into rubbish rather than the more usual method of accumulating sales figures. It discovered that the most-smoked “brand” was smuggled rather than “legit”.

Nasty little fascist. Two generations ago she’d have been complaining about homosexuals, who used to be described as “deviants”. But because the fashion changed we don’t.
I tend to view people as being a bit of a mixed bag, with all sorts of desires that are pretty much baked into their DNA. Some women are slags. They either love getting fucked or at least, are pretty relaxed about it. Whatever bit of their brain that is “serial monogamy” that normally exists isn’t there. And it’s a “life gives you lemons” thing. Why not capitalise on it? It’s no different from Warwick Davis suffering a disease that gave him dwarfism and getting work as an ewok in Return of the Jedi.
Most women don’t want to do it. They would rather take a badly paid job in Tesco. But if you’re a woman who is relaxed about doing it, why wouldn’t you?
Presumably they haven’t heard of Rule 34. Or perhaps they have, and this is how they go about banning everything.
