A former Guantanamo Bay detainee is one of at least 466 people facing terror charges for supporting Palestine Action.
Moazzam Begg was arrested in Parliament Square for declaring support for the organisation, which was proscribed earlier this year after the sabotage of RAF aircraft.
The mass arrests came during a rally by activists seeking to test whether the ban would be enforced, with the hope there would be too many protesters to detain.
….
The 57-year-old, who has never been found guilty of any terror-related offence,
He might get found guilty of something now, obviously.
“never been found guilty”
Has he ever been tried ?
People weren’t locked up in Gitmo for riding a bike without lights.
“He might get found guilty of something now, obviously.”
To which the only realistic response is “Yeah, right”.
A Jew hating bearded bloke supporting a terror organisation? I think TTK will be on the phone straight away telling the judge to ask if he really likes his local MaccyD’s chicken nuggets…

Compare and contrast with police attitudes when people post hurty comments about another religion.
“People weren’t locked up in Gitmo for riding a bike without lights.”
They locked up so many people after no or perfunctory investigation that it’s odds on that at least one had never even strayed as far as a bike without lights. So much for the Holy Constitution.
I suppose it was small beer compared to the rest of that evil, reckless adventure.
Stupid, ignorant bastards, the US ruling class; plus no doubt plenty who expected to do well out of it financially.
The Gitmo detainees were generally found in places like Iraq and Afghanistan, having done things like surrendering and then continuing to fight.
They’re not civilians, and they’re certainly guilty. The “illegal combatant” designation covers things that would have got them immediately shot in any earlier war.
There were a number of attempts to try them, generally foundering on the circumstances of their arrest and the problems of gathering the evidence (sometimes now 25 years ago).
The ones that were arrested without much investigation would have been let go years ago.
and the problems of gathering the evidence
They got lots of evidence as in confessions. Most of them will probably have confessed to shooting JFK from the grassy knoll, albeit incoherently due to the large volumes of water being poured down their throat at the time.
Begg was sent to Gitmo after he admitted to training at Al-Quaeda camps. He’s admitted to doing the same in Chechnya and God knows where else where he claims he didn’t fight. Because AQ is famously tolerant of people seeing all their secret training camps and then saying “not for me mate!” and pushing off 🙁
I love how every retard in the country is volunteering to be jailed over Palestine though.
Imagine what a British government could do to such helpful people. (St Kilda is only a Chinook ride away.) Since “pro-Palestine” is a synecdoche for the following:
* Moslem bigots
* Worthless “anti-racist” whites
* Nut Zero fanatics
* Sexual deviants
* Jeremy Corbyn
… we should thank them for identifying themselves and giving us the opportunity to round them up. How many Nissen huts can we fit on Hirta?
@Steve
Why bother? Send them to Gaza.
Matt: perfect. The swarthies will blend right in; the blue-haired will get… blended.
