I was just reading the same story in our local chip wrapper. Nothing much to add to it. Although I drove back past La Cala last night. Thankfully, with a well filled tank. Calle Orfebres’ the location of Butterflies, a well known house of ill repute. Run by a woman often referred to as the Poison Dwarf. So it sort of makes sense for someone fleeing the filth from a La Cala gasolinera & knows the area. Dump the car, ring the bell & you’d have somewhere to hole up until morning. One notes from the photo a Beretta 92. I got offered one of those couple weeks back. Wanted 4k for it. Not my style. Bit of a cannon. Wouldn’t improve the line of my dinner jacket.
