Aha, aha, aha

Starmer cannot have armoured electric Range Rover ‘because of bomb risk’

Aha.

If a bomb goes off then the battery will too. Therefore an EV cannot be bomb proof.

Siri, tell me, what does “antinomianism” mean?

Also amusing is Douglas Carswell’s (apparent) post on X:
“From Epping to the sea, let’s make England Abdul free.”

No need to over-complicate these matters.

The government is simultaneously banning non-EV vehicles whilst using only ICE vehicles.

The root of all modern governmental evil is the ruling class belief in their specialness. Rules for Thee, etc.

@Steve, it is because it’s driven the Left into a spitting, frothing furor about ‘racism’!

I can’t be the only one that’s happy for him to take the risk.

MNM25: Nope. I think we should take a vote on it. ‘S democratic, right?

And, in other news, Graham Lineham has been arrested for making three posts.

The first is a picture of what seems be a trans rights demonstration, with the caption: “A photo you can smell”. Another post reads: “I hate them. Misogynists and homophobes. Fuck em”. And the third says: “If a trans-identified male is in a female-only space, he is committing a violent, abusive act. Make a scene, call the cops and if all else fails, punch him in the balls.”

Er isn’t the British Army experimenting with EVs as we speak?

Jenny Jones, Green Party, replies on X to Douglas Carswell’s “From Epping to the sea, let’s make England Abdul free”:-

Douglas, this is a disgusting tweet. What has happened to you?

Carswell: Manchester happened. David Amess happened. Parsons Green happened. And the lanyard wearing classes doubled down on the folly.

I’m guessing that as ‘X’ only displays 280 characters, Douglas didn’t have space to mention the roper rape gangs, the London Bridge attack, 7 / 7, Lee Rigby, vast areas of our cities being turned into third world shitholes, the ballooning cost to the welfare and pension budgets of unfettered chain migration (cont. P94).

I think they mean more ‘the battery itself is a bomb just waiting to go off’;)

And also that an armored electric RR will have a range of about 5 miles – if you don’t use the air conditioning.

Or the radio.

Or turn on the headlights.

Theo.
As regards Graham Lineham being arrested by 5 armed officers cos he looks middle class and we can bully him, I note that Toby Youngs FSU has already tweeted about it & its in an article on the DS.
I assume this means that the Met will be made to look even more incompetent soon.

I did some work on the GoC NI’s car n the mid ‘80s and an impressive beast it was and extremely heavy.

I assume they do the same to the PM’s car: all round armour plating, bulletproof windows, hermetically sealed environment with special air filters and gas bottles for emergency oxygen, run flat tyres etc. on top of the much heavier battery will make it exceptionally heavy.

I imagine the current draw just to get it moving will put quite a strain on a standard car battery and pose an increased fire risk.

Doesn’t Carswell live in Tennessee these days ? So I guess he can say what he likes.

As for Linehan – I have said this before: I have very limited sympathy for him.
He was quite happy in the past to subscribe to censorship and actively tried to get Count Duckula arrested. It is a case of “It’s alright until it happens to me.”
If the Trans Lobby hadn’t come after him, I have no doubt he’d still be dobbing people into their employers for off colour Tweets.

Otto,

About Linehan, having listened to him a couple of times I got the feeling it was always about him and not the general free speech principles.

That said, it’s important that this case is won.
