Gentlemen, there is a shortage of tin foil in Ely

First, there is a globally backed fascist coup going on, with Netanyahu at its epicentre

The right tends to actually win elections which is sort of not consistent with a “coup”.

To be precise, the right rely on winning elections as a means to win power

Yes, in that his paranoia is now completely full-blown. He’s just gibbering. It’ll not be long before he’s sectioned, because he’s going to do something regrettable.

Ah yes, the standard Leftist argument – it was the Jooz that did it!

This is my favourite paragraph:

I have alway rejected conspiracy theories. They rarely serve a purpose. Except, this does not feel like a conspiracy anymore. It feels like reality. And it feels like it is happening, and happening now.

My question is, have we – like the States – already been occupied by a far-right government that reached office via the debased form of electoral system that too many in this country still call democratic, which government is now being run for the benefit of a very few far-right big businesses and no one else? The possibility that this could have already happened suddenly feels frighteningly real.

I am afraid anyone who could call a government which is to all intents and purposes overtly Stalinist ‘right wing’ needs sectioning probably for his benefit as well as the wider society.

So, shirley, he’ll agree that the Great Replacement is not a conspiracy theory, the evidence shows that it is actually happening.

Not only can’t he make cogent arguments, he can’t express his incogent arguments properly.

I have alway rejected conspiracy theories. They rarely serve a purpose. Except, this does not feel like a conspiracy anymore. It feels like reality.

He means (I assume) ‘this does not feel like a conspiracy theory anymore’.

I guess he calls them “far-right” because they don’t listen enough to him. Obvious evidence that they can’t be correct in their thinking…

Where is my invite to this coup? I’d like to help.

For some reason this is missing the second half of “or am I completely insane?”

“… government is now being run for the benefit of a very few far-right big businesses …”

Nobody is benefitting from the monstrous shambles that Starmer & co. are presiding over.

Au contraire

Dale Vince is doing very nicely

As are the people smugglers

Most of the climate change scammers, the whole DEI industry, leftie immigration lawyers

Not to mention the Blair family and everyone sheltering behind super injunctions

Those leftie immigration lawyers could pay the people smugglers with their loose change.

But why would they? The people being smuggled are already paying.

And the whole point of being a lawyer is that other people pay you.

Paying out would be money going the wrong way. If you have to, then getting the government to pay, is second-best (since the money isn’t going to you after all).

But this stands in some contrast to the oft-expressed philosophy of Benito Murpholini:

Everything within the state, nothing outside the state, nothing against the state.

Or am I misunderstanding somewhere?

Pip, a comment I have made before but ICYMI – Coal was in short supply during the war in Italy and they used other methods to fuel their railway locomotives. This is how Benny made the trains run on thyme…..

Joe Rogan, on his podcast, was exploring whether Netanyahooo runs Trump and the US. Tucker and Candace are quite openly “anti-semitic”. We have our own “pattern recognition” communiteh right here. The demand for tin foil extends far beyond leftist tosspot fenlanders.

Fascist jews certainly shows how meaningless the insulting descriptor has become.

I obviously think it’s all mad, but there’s no inherent reason that I can see why Jews – or particularly Israelis – can’t be fascists?

It’s simply a philosophy of the state controlling everything; the antisemitic element was sprinkled on top by Hitler, but Mussolini – probably a ‘purer’ fascist anyway than Hitler – wasn’t antisemitic (though he later went along with some of it to keep his little Austrian mate happy).

Agreed. Fascism generally needs an ‘out group’ to persecute, but there’s no philosophical reason I can see why it has to be jews; or, indeed, why jews couldn’t be the ‘in group’. I agree it goes against recent fashion, but it’s not impossible.

Musso’s Fascists started out with an over-representation of Jews in the party (or so I once read). It was only later in the day, once Musso had fallen in love with Hitler, that the Jews were made to feel uncomfortable.

That means that there was a period when Jews were overrepresented in both the Fascists and the Bolsheviks.

Fermi was a far-sighted chap: he left for the US because his wife was Jewish and he could see trouble ahead.

He really has lost the plot.

Even today, you can spot the real fascists by the way they lose their shit about the Jews.

Bullies you don’t like = fascist e.g. Naziyahu.

Bullies you do like = socialists e.g. Starmer’s Stasi.

Got it!

This is in line with Putin’s claim that the democratically-elected government of Ukraine led by a Jewish Ukrainian were Nazis

The democratically elected government of Ukraine were not all that democratically elected, at least if you factor in what happened to their predecessors, but I don’t think many people believe they were openly fascist. They definitely had (and have) fascist backers though – it is all very well known and openly reported, even by the Grauniad, until suddenly someone decided that they weren’t actually fascists somehow.

Allowing millions of Arabs to live in Israel, to have Israeli citizenship, their own political parties and as near as damn it equal rights under the law must make Netanyahu the most inept fascist in history.

This aligns with Israel committing the least effective “genocide” ever since the population of the Gaza Strip has almost doubled in the last twenty years.

Back when I used to do criminal defense, I had a lot of clients who were (to be polite) goofy.

One of the surest signs that someone was off their meds was when they came up with new conspiracy theories.
