Burberry has sacked its diversity chief as part of a sweeping overhaul at the luxury goods giant.
First, that the Telegraph has reported this when others have not makes clear its own bias against the DEI agenda.
Newspaper reports news is proof of bias of newspaper.
Huh
A man who obviously does not read the Telegraph very often.
I would say that the DT competes well in that segment also occupied by the Morning Star.
Otto – 100% – almost indistinguishable from the KCNA feed other than it is more pro Trans. As far As I’m concerned it’s now a Hard Left publication, albeit not on a parallel political universe like Murphy where the Starmer government is ‘Far right’
Maybe Reform suckers can explain why the Royal Highness Nigel Farage said Enoch Powell was his political hero?
He says that it is inciting violence to criticise him.
Yet Farage referred to President Obama as a loathsome individual.
Richard Tice said the UK PM was comparable to Kim Jong Un.
You could not make it up!
Enoch Powell is my political hero.
I don’t see the problem.
And Obama is a loathsome individual. If it wasn’t for immunity, he’d be looking at a long stretch in prison for treason.
Enoch Powell was racist he insulted black people. What would he have said about Kemi Badenoch?
Yeah, I mean why call someone who had the balls to stand up and speak for the white working class, against the massed ranks of virtually every other politician (including those in his own party), every leftist organisation and the main stream media, as a hero?
Have you noticed any similarities between Enoch and Nigel?
Powell supported extreme cuts in welfare benefits and he supported cuts in public services so the rich could have tax cuts. Powell was not for the working class.
For once I am going to agree that Tice erred there – Starmer is far worse than Kim Jong un.
So it is ok to insult Starmer and the left.
But if you criticise Farage then you are inciting violence and are a evil tyrant.
I think the evil tyrant thing is absolutely correct – his is one of the most vicious tyrannies the country has ever seen. In terms of incitement to violence. Donald Trump was shot at Twice, and Charlie Kirk murdered by the radical Left. If your supporters are unhinged and mentally unbalanced provoking them to commit acts of violence probably isn’t very prime ministerial??
There have been attacks by the far right.
Look at the Gabby Giffords shooting.
The Gretchen Whitmer kidnapping plot.
Charleston church shooting.
There have been plenty of attacks by the far right.
And Hitler was far right. He killed 6 million Jews..
So how can you claim it is OK for right wing politicians to criticise left wing leaders but wrong for left wing leaders to ever criticise a right wingers.
And some people on the left claim the Trump and Kirk shootings were done by right wing people anyway.
It’s not about the criticism but the incitement to violence and declaration of war. Of course the left hasn’t got a monopoly on political violence. However, in this instance it’s Starmer calling for war against Reform.
Given your support for the murder of every Jew in the world then perhaps I’d keep quiet about Hitler – your Palestinian supporting friends think he had the right idea.
Insults against Farage – no issue. If they’re reduced to that – particularly in the case of an Al Qaeda/ ISIS backed home secretary and a former foreign secretary who is one of the Leading racists to hold high office in the UK – they’re badges of honour….
I have never supported any Jews being murdered. I am agsindt the Holocaust.
I want peace for Palestine and Israel.
You are the one who hates Jews and you voted for Hitler to be made a saint.. Plus you have an autographed copy of Mein Kampf. And you voted for Hitler in every Weimar Republic election.
Disgusting.
Hold on
Didn’t you work with the USSR to arm and fund the PLO, actively causing the death of hundreds of Jews?
Wasn’t that you I saw in images of the Dawson’s Field hijackings?
Weren’t you actively responsible for signing off death notices for over a million Gulag prisoners?
Didn’t I see a Bust of Stalin on your work desk?
You have copies of Das Kapital and The communist manifesto.
You keep the skulls of kulaks in your back garden.
How do you even sleep at night?
None of us here have just killed two Jews outside a synagogue in Manchester.

If you know about fashion, probably worth looking into. The share price is up about 75% since the new CEO took over. But I know nothing about fashion.
The CEO must have made other good initiatives besides sacking the “diversity chief” to affect the stock price that much.
Perhaps he’s also gotten rid of HR.
I wonder if he got rid of team building exercises as well? This foolishness was just creeping into my workplace when I was only a couple of years from retiring so I was happy to tell them to fook off.
All news sources pundits, bloggers etc – and even the Tuber himself – exhibit selection bias; but selection bias is only a problem for the Tuber when it’s not tuberous.
Of course if they hadn’t reported it, that would have also been “ bias against the DEI agenda” for ignoring it.
It’s a bit like those who report endlessly on the situation in Gaza while ignoring that in Nigeria, over 110,000 Nigerian Christians have been murdered by militant Islamic groups in the past couple of decades.
You don’t understand. The Nigerian murders are committed by sub-Saharan Africans. Whereas the Gaza murders are committed by a state set up by white Europeans. That’s the difference. Better behaviour is expected of the latter.
In other words the criticisms are racist.
I was listening to Mearsheimer this morning and he said it’s because Gaza is a genocide and the others aren’t (I paraphrase slightly). And who declared it a genocide? According to him lots of international organisations like Amnesty International, lots of governments and genocide specialists.
He also thinks Hamas would be mad to release the hostages, presumably because he wants the genocide to continue, but he wasn’t asked that question.
If killing 0.9% of a population is genocide, we better report ourselves to the beak for Gulf War I & II.
We had the Professional Negroes in from 2020, when insulting the white men who keep your business running was all the rage after that black criminal died in America. “Unconscious bias training” is what you think it is, i.e. people whose ancestors never mastered fire or the wheel trying to get you to admit you hate naggers.
Pointy haired bosses insisted that this would make us money, somehow, and DEI the future of business, but 5 years on they’ve stopped giving money to the Professional Negroes and nobody ever mentioned it again. I expect they’re probably breakdancing on a bit of cardboard in Tottenham or something.
“whose ancestors never mastered fire” Come now, the Bantu were Iron Age agriculturalists. Jolly hard to make iron tools if you haven’t mastered fire.
What about Steve pretending she is a man? When she has boasted of her love of bullies and bad boys.
It is warped and evil to support bullies and abusers.
I could suggest ‘Real Man’ is back again, but there appears to be a lack of capital letters. So far.
It’s always Real Man, in its various incarnations.
The style is interesting. If it was someone here, a bit bored, which I did assume for a while, it would make sense. Because the writing style is the type that one would use to disguise another style. Ie, it’s simple enough to consistently repeat whilst being dissimilar to much else and hence not likely to reveal itself as another regular here.
But as the content has become repetitive, I’ve given up on that idea. Which is a worry; ie, what if it’s a real person, who actually believes all this shit they come out with?
Every woman adores a Fascist ❤️
Hilarious! I nearly spat my cornflakes over my iPad (other tablets are available).
Three thoughts.
It’s our lucky day
First, that the Telegraph has reported this when others have not makes clear its own bias against the DEI agenda.
So the Guardian’s indifference means it’s an active supporter’s role? Are you that stupid? (Rhetorical question obviously)
Second, the willingness with which businesses are abandoning DEI shows how thin its commitment ever was, as many of us suspected.
I think businesses exist to make money rather than be part of nefarious schemes from people who haven’t run for elective office in their lives.
Third, the march of Trump’s fascism moves on without him ever demanding change: far too many are simply willingly complying to curry favour with crude power.
The calling of someone who moved The US embassy to Jerusalem and who has consistently supported Jews, especially by someone who is himself a Nazi who wants every Jew in the world murdered is particularly galling, if unsurprising
So, I suggest not buying Burberry, not that I will have difficulty complying with that suggestion: I have never bought Burberry
I am imagining the Burberry equivalent of their ‘Disasters and Emergencies’ Committee is being convened as I write.
My point is to this fool – does he really imagine, as a septuagenarian old man that his oft – cited ‘neurological diversity’ would put him anywhere near the top of an identity politics totem pole? On grounds of gender, sexual orientation, race and religion he’s miles down.
Even more than the monstrous Sadiq Khan, this guy is a ‘Stone Cold Loser’
“I am imagining the Burberry equivalent of their ‘Disasters and Emergencies’ Committee is being convened as I write.”
Establishing shot of Big Ben. Cut to: Horseferry House, London, England:
INT. – A LARGE CONFERENCE ROOM – DAY
Flunky: I don’t know how to tell you this Sir, the news just came in. It’s bad!
CEO: Out with it Man!
Flunky: It’s from Ely Sir!
CEO: My God!
Flunky: That’s only what he thinks Sir. He says he won’t buy our stuff any more!
CEO: This changes everything!
Flunky: Even though he’s never bought anything of ours before?
CEO: You don’t understand, we’re talking about the Sage of Ely. The man who is never wrong. This could be it. We could lose everything.
Flunky: It could be worse Sir.
CEO: How?
Flunky: He could start buying our stuff. Then we’d be finished as a fashion company.
CEO: No chance. We don’t make sizes that big. We’re saved!
Flunky: Yay! Well done Sir.
Martin
I’m envisaging this as illustrated by the late Ian Kennedy – the ‘out with it, Man!’ is genius… What a F$%^ing moron the guy is….
The way to judge the bias of a news medium is not by the stories they feature but the ones they omit completely.
Rhoda, they omit completely, lie:
Al Beeb Toady programme this week – Covid Lockdown – Health Editor or something, Bronwin Jeffries “the UK locked down as did most of the rest of the world“. Fact check 14 countries locked down, out of 190+,
or withhold important information:
BBC Morning yesterday – Water voles being returned to the fens after becoming extinct due to the US Mink, an invasive species. Ignoring the fact the mink were being farmed in secure premises until the animal rights nutters let them out.
Cunts, all of them.
You think it is the opposite – those not reporting on it are covering for Burberry;)
Imagine having to hire 6 figure staff to deal with a supposed strength…
Here we have a potato desiring to be ‘Dauphinoise’, but without the substance to be more than mash
